Now we can't check for environment variables for link. As they have been deprecated https://docs.docker.com/compose/link-env-deprecated/

Hi @tarunlalwani, I am sorry that you didn't get feedback before for this PR. Anyway, #640 is covering what this PR conceptually tried to achieve. Closing this one. |
