• The buddy comes back sooner. If Claude Code stalls for more than a second and drops the buddy's drawing, the buddy now comes back in 15 seconds instead of a minute
• Also when it dies right away. A drawing that never answered after it started, for example on a busy machine, is started again too. It tries three times at most, and /buddy debug says when it gave up
