First tagged release: rules, git hooks and small scripts that let several AI coding agents share one git repository without overwriting each other, with every commit attributed.

What you get

  • One rule file for every agent (AGENTS.md), a claims board, and a hook that rejects unsigned commits
  • Separate working trees for parallel agents, and delegation that needs a command to prove the work right
  • Installers for Linux, macOS and Windows, tested on all three in CI

New in this release

  • Commit check on GitHub. Git does not turn hooks on when it clones a repository, so unsigned commits used to go unnoticed in a fresh clone. A new workflow now checks every push and pull request. To block merges too, make agent-trailers a required check in branch protection.
  • AGENTS.md tells every agent to enable the hooks at the start of a session.
  • A one-minute demo in the README, and issue templates, including a field report for real use.

Install

git clone https://github.com/Soda-null/multi-agent-repo-protocol.git
multi-agent-repo-protocol/install.sh /path/to/your/repo

Tried it on a real project? A field report helps most, good or bad.
