Keepsake 1.5.0
Keepsake now runs on Android too. Download Keepsake.apk on the phone and open it.
- Keepsake for Android, with the same window, queue, library and player as on Windows
- Phone sounds are told apart by the file itself, so the library lists them as sound
- The phone player keeps playing out of sight
Keepsake 1.3.0
Playlists, and a player that carries on by itself.
- Library has Playlists. Make one from files picked with Select, or from a file open in the viewer, with Add to Playlist
- A playlist's page plays it, shuffles it, carries on from the file it was left on, and reorders it by dragging a row's grip or with the arrow keys
- Play All, in the Library, plays everything shown one after another
- The player's next button cycles through stopping, playing the next one, and starting over after the last
- Shuffle, for a playlist or Play All
- A sleep timer in the player: 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or the end of the file, with the sound fading out
- Keep playing out of sight, under Settings, Behaviour, is on unless it is turned off
Keepsake 1.2.0
Clearer settings, a steadier window and a queue that screen readers can follow.
- All in One Place, under Settings, Saving, shows whether Downloads or Windows' own folders are in use
- File names keeps the raw yt-dlp template under Custom, and Behaviour has a Show Shortcuts button
- The settings index marks the section you picked, even near the bottom of the page
- Make a Playable Copy is offered only for videos that some players cannot open
- A link's preview folds its formats away, and opens them in full instead of in a small scrolling box
- A finished download keeps the line of its speed until Keepsake closes
- Screen readers hear when a download finishes or fails, and what each colour code stands for
- Outlines of fields and buttons are brighter, at 3:1 against the background
- Bringing a field into view leaves the title bar where it is
- The player and the clip bar agree on a file's length
- Two clips of one video made at the same time each keep their own file
- Counts say 1 file and 1 download
Keepsake 1.1.1
Clip, lighter previews, a Downloads option and steadier folders.
- Clip, beside Preview, opens a link with its clip bar ready, so only the part you mark is downloaded
- Previews can play at 360p, 240p or 144p, as sound only, or not at all, set under Settings, Behaviour
- Use Downloads, under Settings, Saving, puts everything in Downloads\Keepsake
- Folder pickers start in the folder being changed, and Show in Folder on a deleted file opens the folder it was in
- A download where some files failed now says how many and why, and Retry Failed picks it up
- Previews of wide films played at 720p, and now play at the size you picked
Keepsake 1.0.0
The first public release of Keepsake.
- Paste a link from YouTube or a thousand other sites and get the file in your Videos, Music or Pictures folder
- A queue, subscriptions, search, and a library with a player that cuts clips and makes GIFs
- Optional removal of text added over pictures, set up in Settings, which saves a cleaned copy beside each one
