Describe the solution you'd like
I like to print the current version of the tool with csctl-openstack version to know if I have a stable release or a self build version. If second is the case I like to see the commit hash. This makes it easier to share informations about the current build e.g. if there are problems.

Example from csctl:

$ csctl version
csctl version: v0.0.2-11-gff295ba-dirty
commit: ff295ba9da227dbfea1bb96729758f07c17dc979
