Releases: SpaceCorps/Sliplane-Cli
Release list
v1.3.0
Ported the useful parts of the official Sliplane CLI, built for agents (explicit --account, YAML/JSON output, stable exit codes). PARITY.md records what was ported, declined and why.
Install (macOS, Linux): curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SpaceCorps/Sliplane-Cli/main/scripts/install.sh | sh
Install (Windows PowerShell): irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SpaceCorps/Sliplane-Cli/main/scripts/install.ps1 | iex
Both check the SHA-256 against checksums.txt and that the binary reports this version. Builds are attested: gh attestation verify <archive> --repo SpaceCorps/Sliplane-Cli. This is the first release with checksums.txt, so sliplane update works from here on.
New
- Install and update: one-line installers, five platform archives,
sliplane update [--check],sliplane completion <shell>,sliplane version. - Services:
presets list|show|deploy,--waiton deploys, services logs --since/--follow,services ssh(including-- command) andservices tunnel,--env-file/--secret-env-file,--image nginxexpands to the Docker Hub reference. - Names or ids for projects, services, servers, databases and buckets (
--service web,--bucket files). - Postgres:
allowlist show|add|remove|clearwith--my-ip,logs --since,restoredefaulting to the latest point, query(rows as data, TLS verified, read-only unless--write) andconnect. - Files in a bucket:
s3 connect|ls|upload|download|rm. - Agents:
agent initwrites a pointer toagent-readmeintoAGENTS.md;credentials create --token-stdin.
Not verified against the live Sliplane service
Tested against mocks and local MinIO, PostgreSQL and sshd, not a real Sliplane account: --wait event timing, $SLIPLANE_DOMAIN expansion, the allowlist client-IP header, the S3 signing region, the SSH gateway, and Sliplane's Postgres hosts (TLS and startup parameters).
v1.2.0
Sliplane API 0.11.0
- New:
sliplane services rotate-deploy-hook --project-id <p> --service-id <s> -a <account>issues a new deploy hook URL. The old URL stops working immediately, so the output carries a note to update every CI secret or webhook that calls it. Needs thesecrets:readscope. - Clearer errors: a
403 insufficient_scopenow says the API key is missing a permission and points tosliplane me, instead of the generic "not allowed" message. - Spec copy pinned at
spec/sliplane-openapi-0.11.0.json(78 operations).
Not included
- Server autoscaling (new in 0.11.0):
servers getshows the policy, but this CLI cannot change it; use the dashboard.servers rescaleis unchanged and still valid. - The
Sliplane-Client-IPresponse header onmeis not surfaced.
Verified
fmt, clippy -D warnings and tests (15 unit + 35 integration) pass in CI on Linux, macOS and Windows. rotate-deploy-hook was also run against the live API on a throwaway service (new URL returned, old URL answers 404).
Not verified: the insufficient_scope message with a real key lacking secrets:read (mock and unit tests only).
Binaries for Linux, macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows are attached once the release build finishes.
v1.1.0 - Sliplane API 0.10.0
Sliplane API 0.10.0
The CLI now covers all 77 operations of the Sliplane API (it was 65, spec 0.5.0).
New commands
ssh-keys list / create / delete- register a public key inline or from a file, optionally self-deleting with--expires-at. A private key is refused.services ssh-keys / attach-ssh-key / detach-ssh-key- attach prints the host, port and username to connect with.services attach-volume / update-volume / detach-volumeandservers rename-volume. Attach, update and detach redeploy the service; a detached volume keeps its data.postgres metrics, andpricing.
Fixes
services update --merge-envno longer blanks variables. API keys now have per-area scopes. Withoutsecrets:readevery env value reads back empty, plain ones too, and a plain variable sent back empty is overwritten.--merge-envnow refuses (auth_required) when it would carry a plain variable over with such a key, and points toservices set-envor a key with Secrets: Read.accounts addandaccounts testwarn when a key lackssecrets:read;sliplane melists the scopes.--from/--toonservers metricsandservices metricsalways failed with HTTP 400, because the default--range 1hwas sent with them.--rangenow conflicts with--from/--to.- Clearer errors for maintenance mode (423) and for deleting an SSH key that is still attached (409).
Upgrading
Download the archive for your platform below, or build from source with cargo install --path . --locked. Config and stored keys are unchanged.
v1.0.0: Initial Stable Release
Sliplane CLI v1.0.0: Initial Stable Release
We are excited to announce v1.0.0, the first stable release of the Sliplane CLI under SpaceCorps!
Sliplane CLI is a high-performance native command-line tool and autonomous AI agent interface for managing Sliplane cloud infrastructure.
Highlights
- ⚡ Native Speed: Written in pure Rust with sub-3ms startup time, zero managed runtimes, and minimal memory footprint.
- 🔐 OS Keystore Integration:
sliplane loginopens your dashboard interactively, prompts for your API token with masked characters, verifies the token live againstGET /v0/me, and persists it securely in the OS keychain (macOS Keychain, Linux Secret Service / Keyutils, Windows DPAPI). - 🌐 Complete 65-Endpoint API: Full coverage of the Sliplane API (OpenAPI 0.5.0) spanning compute servers, web services, managed PostgreSQL databases, S3 object storage buckets, custom domains, and access keys.
- 🤖 AI Agent Native: Includes
--jsonoutput flags for machine consumption, standardized error envelopes with stable exit codes, and comprehensivellms.txtagent instructions. - 🛡️ Safety Guardrails: Strict account scoping prevents accidental cross-tenant mutations, and secret values are preserved on partial environment variable updates.
- 📜 MIT Licensed: Dual-licensed and freely available for developers and teams.
