Install the full .upt firmware for your player. This release requires a full firmware update.
- New Artist pages and redesigned album pages, with faster library browsing.
- Change device settings and manage plugins and Now Playing layouts from the Compás app and Compás Tools.
- New Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese translations, with expanded font support.
- Improved TempoTec V1 menus, quick settings, and Now Playing layouts. V1 support is Beta: hardware-tested and usable, with some features still incomplete.
- More reliable Samsung SSC selection and Bluetooth volume sync.
- Support for newer R1 units with AIC8800 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth hardware, plus improved button handling.
- Corrected PEQ graphs and lyrics keeping the screen awake.
- Improved long-title display, sleep timer behavior, and charging indication.
- More time to choose Rockbox at startup.
TempoTec V1 beta kernel refresh: the V1 image now includes 24 MiB LZ4 zram swap. This kernel has passed static review and packaging checks; V1 hardware validation is being done by beta testers. If you already installed v1.4 on a V1, reinstall the full v1.upt together with the updated v1_md5.txt to receive this change.

For the V1, copy both files to the SD card. Checksums are included in SHA256SUMS.
