A bug-fix and performance release.

Highlights

  • 🤖 Android USB (ADB) fixed — your screen now mirrors to the Android device instead of looping back onto the Mac.
  • 🔋 Lower CPU & battery use — fixed a bug that left screen capture running in the background after disconnecting.
  • 📺 Smoother WiFi (TCP) streaming — pixelation now clears almost instantly instead of lingering for seconds.
  • 🖥️ macOS 13 Ventura support — BetterCast no longer requires macOS 14.
  • 🐞 Clearer Android ADB connection errors, plus an internal connection memory-leak fix.

Updating on macOS 13? Delete any previous copy of BetterCast before installing this one.
