Reference Marker Fix 0.1.8

Adds compatibility with Zotero 10.0.6.

The bundled reader code in macOS Zotero 10.0.6 is identical to the previously tested 10.0.5 reader. The original crop-coordinate offset was reproduced from the 10.0.6 renderer. Rendering, alignment, lifecycle, version-gating and unknown-renderer regression tests pass.

Supports Zotero 10.0.5–10.0.6. No changes to the marker rendering logic.

If Zotero disabled an older release after updating to 10.0.6, update this plugin to 0.1.8 and restart Zotero.

Reference Marker Fix v0.1.7

Reference Marker Fix

English

Renamed from PDF Preview Dot Fix to Reference Marker Fix to distinguish citation hover markers from sidebar PDF previews. Updated project links, package filename and update manifest. The internal add-on ID and rendering behavior are unchanged. Existing installations can be upgraded in place.

Compatibility: Zotero 10.0.5 only.

v0.1.6 — PDF preview dot fix for Zotero 10.0.5

安装 / Installation

下载 pdf-preview-dot-fix-0.1.6.xpi，在 Zotero「工具 → 插件 → 齿轮 → 从文件安装插件」中安装，然后重启。

Download pdf-preview-dot-fix-0.1.6.xpi, install through Zotero's Tools → Plugins → gear → Install Plugin From File, then restart.

Compatibility

Zotero 10.0.5 only. Interactive testing confirmed on macOS; Windows/Linux are unverified.

Changes

• Correct the red dot's displacement after preview canvas trimming.
• Align the marker left of the reference's first line and center it on the visible letter body.
• Preserve full-page previews and fall back to the native renderer on errors.
• Restore original behavior when disabled.
• Public release metadata and GitHub update manifest. Rendering code is unchanged from the locally tested 0.1.5.

Early local versions 0.1.0–0.1.5 require a manual upgrade to this release because their update URL was a placeholder.

This is a temporary community workaround using private reader APIs. It does not modify PDFs, annotations or the Zotero library database. See README and COPYING for details and attribution.
