• Activity summaries now distinguish finding tools from searching files or calling connected tools.

GroxStudio 0.6.1

• GroxStudio now opens to a usable prompt much sooner, while conversations and background services continue loading quietly.
• All of your saved tabs now return together when GroxStudio opens, with their names visible while each conversation finishes loading.
• Connected MCP tools can now show their own names and icons, making similarly named integrations easier to identify.
• MCP tools blocked by your organization are clearly labeled and cannot be changed from GroxStudio.
• MCP connections that need you to sign in again now stay visible, even before their tools are available.
• Before you approve a file change, GroxStudio now opens the full proposed edit automatically.
• Recurring Grok tasks stay in the background, matching the latest Grok CLI behavior.
• Sending a queued message immediately no longer leaves a duplicate behind.
• Pressing Escape during a reply now keeps Grok working and points you to Control-C when you want to stop it.
• GroxStudio remains compatible with older Grok CLI versions and only asks you to update when a feature actually requires it.
• With Grok CLI 1.0.32 or later, your current Plugins and Skills appear before you send the first message.
• Commands such as /feedback remain available while you review a plan.
• Background commands now show their latest output in Activity while they run.
• Hooks that Grok marks as locked no longer show controls that cannot be used.

GroxStudio 0.6.1 requires macOS 26.0 or later.

GroxStudio 0.6.0 Alpha

• Grok can now show interactive charts right in your conversations.
• Use /imagine to create images without leaving the chat.
• Tell Grok what went wrong, attach screenshots, and save drafts to finish later.
• Send feedback about GroxStudio separately, save drafts, and review the message in Mail before sending.
• Quote any previous message directly in your reply.
• New chats are ready sooner, so the first response starts faster.
• When a connected tool needs more information, answer its questions and continue where you left off.
• Rich-text pasting, short-prompt scrolling, slash commands, and table copying now work more reliably.
• See which Grok settings are managed on your Mac. You can keep using normal chats with older Grok CLI versions; GroxStudio only asks you to update when you open a feature that needs 1.0.18.

GroxStudio 0.6.0 requires macOS 26.0 or later.
