Changed

  • A scan is one task. SKILL.md now says to carry a scan through the report without pausing
for confirmation. An interactive Codex session stopped after three screening batches; run with
codex exec and told to finish, it completed the same run end to end. The README's Codex
    section now recommends codex exec.
  • Docs: the README's argument list names --gap-round, its NCBI_API_KEY row no longer reads
as enabling PubMed retrieval, the Codex section notes --skip-git-repo-check outside a git
repository, and the headless --allowedTools set is stated exactly. RELEASING.md gains the
    documentation-site sync step.
  • One tagline everywhere: "Research Scan finds and ranks recent scientific papers that matter
most for a specific research question, project, or decision." README, PyPI metadata, the plugin
and marketplace manifests, the CITATION.cff abstract and the GitHub About text; the registry's
100-character field carries a short form. The skill's description keeps its wording, because it
    is the measured trigger surface.
  • Issue and pull-request templates. Bug reports ask for version --json and doctor --verbose; security reports go to private vulnerability reporting.

Note

A patch release. No retrieval, screening, selection, schema or rubric behaviour changes, and no
measured number moves. What does move: one sentence in SKILL.md, and the package descriptions on
PyPI and the MCP registry.
