Hushfeed v0.81.0 has 147 patches for global TikTok 47.7.2 (com.zhiliaoapp.musically). It's built on Morphe patcher 2.2.0, so update Morphe Manager to 2.4.0 or newer before you patch (or use morphe-desktop 2.0.0 on a computer). Older ones won't load it.
TikTok moves to 47.7.2, so grab that build from APKMirror and patch it with the same signing key. Your login and settings carry over. You can keep your own watch history now and hide read receipts in chats. Account cleanup clears your reposts, likes or Favorites in one go, full screen keeps the next videos coming, and LIVE rooms get an Auto tap button. The settings have a new look in TikTok's colors, and they come in Vietnamese too.
New in this release
- Hushfeed now supports TikTok 47.7.2, and only that one. 47.6.3 isn't supported anymore. Grab the 47.7.2 bundle or APK from APKMirror and patch it with the same signing key, so your login and settings carry over.
- On the 47.7.2 bundle (the
.apkm),Remove creation toolsleaves TikTok's files alone. That bundle doesn't ship the effects libraries it takes out, and emptying the face model by itself would break face effects again.Block P2P video relayhas nothing to remove there either, since the bundle leaves the relay out. Both still work as before on the APK. - With
Save photo posts as a videoon, a photo story saves as one MP4 with its sound, running about as long as it does in TikTok. Before, its save kept the photos and left the sound out (#327). Keep the next videos in full screenfixes full screen stopping dead on most pages. TikTok opens it with only the video you were on, so there was nothing to swipe to and it couldn't move on by itself. With the switch on, the videos after it come along. It starts off, and it lives in Hushfeed settings > Playback (#286).Keep my own watch historylists the videos you watch on this phone with who posted them and their captions, in Hushfeed settings > Feed filter. My watch historysearches the list and a tap opens the video again. It starts off and stays on your phone (#172).Long press on For You opens my watch historymakes that long press show your watch history over the feed instead of opening Hushfeed settings. The list has anOpen Hushfeed settingsbutton, and TalkBack's action on For You still opens the settings. It starts off, and it sits underKeep my own watch history(#172).- A new
Time zonerow under Region lets you type a zone like Europe/Belgrade to use in place of the country's. Daylight saving follows by itself, and leaving it empty keeps the country's zone (#198). - Ghost mode has a switch for each thing it holds back now.
Hide story views,Hide profile visitsandHide typingsit under it in Hushfeed settings > Privacy, so you can let one of them through and keep the rest hidden. They all start on, which keeps Ghost mode working the way it did. Hide read receiptskeeps the "seen" mark off the chats you open, so the other person doesn't see that you've read their message. It starts off, and it lives in Hushfeed settings > Inbox. Thanks to @maayan080 (#295).- The settings screen and What's new now come in Vietnamese. Thanks to @hautv404 (#298, #306).
Show inbox filtersin Hushfeed settings > Inbox puts TikTok's Main, Requests, Unread and Starred tabs above your chats on any account. TikTok used to show them to creator accounts only (#331).Rebuild message searchin Hushfeed settings > Inbox clears TikTok's message search and indexes every message saved on your phone again, so older messages show up in results. It keeps going even after you close search (#331).- The LIVE record button hides along with everything else when you turn on TikTok's LIVE Clear screen, and it comes back when you turn it off. A recording that's running keeps going. Thanks to @Hiiva (#297).
- A LIVE recording keeps going while the same LIVE plays in Android's picture-in-picture window, and when you come back to it. Closing the window, leaving or moving to another LIVE stops and saves the file. A recording of the screen still stops when you leave. Thanks to @Hiiva (#324, #337).
Copy bio and IDshas aCopy namebutton now, so a profile's share sheet copies the display name as well as the username. Buttons that don't fit move down to a second line instead of running off the sheet (#303).Background play in the long-press menuadds TikTok's own background play row to the long-press menu, so one video can keep playing while the others stop as usual. It starts off, and it's under Playback.Keep LIVEs from these creatorslets the LIVEs of creators you pick stay in the feed whileHide LIVE videosis on. Add as many as you like, by handle or user ID. It keeps what TikTok sends you, so it won't bring in a LIVE TikTok didn't serve (#305).Show the save button on videosputs a save button on the video, so one tap saves it with your save settings. It starts off, you can drag it wherever you like, and it's in Feed screen under Buttons on videos whenAdvanced downloadsis patched in.- With
Slide to change the hold speedon, the bubble's padlock shows whether the video is locked, and letting go on a new speed while it's locked locks that speed. Hide speed messagesleaves out TikTok's message when you pick a speed from the menu, or lock or unlock one with a hold. It starts off, and it's under Playback.Hide the All button on Followingtakes the All button off the end of the story row on Following, andHide the Create circle in story rowstakes the Create circle off that row and the Inbox's. The stories stay, and both start off under Feed screen.Hide like counts on commentstakes the number off the heart on each comment, andHide the thumbs down on commentstakes the thumbs down off. The heart still works. Both start off, and they're in Hushfeed settings > Comments.Video text colorandBackdrop behind video textunder Feed screen color the description, the creator's name and the post date on videos, and can put a see-through band behind them.Hide the repost chipunder Feed screen takes out the small bar above the progress bar that says someone you follow reposted the video, or asks you to repost it.- Hushfeed settings wear TikTok's colors. Its red marks switches and buttons, its cyan marks headings and icons, and every color was checked so text stays easy to read in the dark and the light look. Switches are rounded squares now instead of pills, with the knob sitting inside the track so it stands out from the card in both looks.
- The main settings page opens on Hushfeed's icon, name and version, centered above the rows. The bar at the top names the page only once that header scrolls away, and it says Search settings while you're typing a search.
- The main settings page lists its categories as full-width rows. Open one and its settings sit on a single rounded card, split up by small capital headings. Each row starts with an icon, and an arrow at the end marks the rows that open something. Long names wrap onto another line instead of getting cut off or split in the middle of a word, even with large text.
- Settings dialogs match the settings page now. The panel has rounded corners and a thin outline, and a long title wraps instead of getting cut off. Choices are rounded rows, and the one you picked is tinted. Buttons are outlined and big enough to hit easily. Text boxes get a rounded frame that turns red while you type, and the dialog makes room for the keyboard instead of sliding under it. On the dark theme, the tick in a checked box is easier to see.
- A row under the search switches the main settings page between categories and one long list with every category open, and it keeps your choice for next time. The restart button looks like a button now, with an arrow and an outline, and it lines up with the search and the cards under it.
- When your daily budget runs out, the title on the screen that holds the feed moves through the same cyan and red as the settings and the App lock screen.
Long-press Inbox for read receiptsmakes a long press on the Inbox tab turnHide read receiptson or off, and a short message says which. A tap on Inbox still opens it. It starts off, and it sits under Feed tab navigation (#333).Compact long-press menu everywherekeeps TikTok's small share sheet on a long press, For You included, for people who like it better than the full menu. It beatsFull long-press menu on a creator's videosandFull long-press menu in search resultsif you turn them all on, and it starts off. It needsLong presson TikTok default (#334).Hide mini dramas,Hide SeriesandHide inserted cardsnow also keep the full-screen "Trending free dramas on PineDrama" card from showing up between drama episodes. TikTok asks its server for that card as it plays a series, and Hushfeed makes it skip the ask, so nothing comes back to hide (#286).Hide TikTok Shopalso takes away the "Find" bar some videos show along the bottom, the shopping search for something in the video. Thanks to @OldManJenkins12 (#271).Hide streak pop-upsstops the streak alert that slides in over TikTok and the streak message it drops into a chat.Hide message streaksstill handles the button. It starts off, and it's in Hushfeed settings > Inbox (#331).Search instead of Hometurns the Home tab into a search button. Its icon and name say Search and a tap opens TikTok's search. TikTok then opens on Inbox, or on Profile when Inbox is hidden, so the feed doesn't start playing the moment you open the app. It starts off, and it's in Hushfeed settings > Feed tabs (#338).Show only the search bar on Discoverkeeps the search box on the Discover tab and takes away the hashtags, banners and tabs under it (#338).Open TikTok onhas a Discover choice for phones whose bottom bar has a Discover tab. On a bar without one, TikTok opens where it normally would (#338).Sort loaded videos on sound pagessorts the videos a sound's page has loaded, with the same orders as profile grids. Open a video from there and swiping up follows that order too. It starts off, and other kinds of pages keep TikTok's order (#180).Hold speed bubble stylepicks how the speed shows while you slide during a hold: the pill you know, or a small round dial with a ring that fills as the speed goes up. The dial comes from OmerKurdi79's fork (#248).Hold speed slide directionlets the hold speed slide go up and down. Slide up for faster and down for slower, and a slide to the side locks the speed, so a hold near the edge of the screen still reaches every speed. It starts on Sideways and sits under Playback. The idea comes from OmerKurdi79's dev2 build (#248).Block author buttonworks inside LIVE rooms too. The button sits under the record button and the Auto tap button, and when the room or the Discover LIVE panel puts something in their spot, all three move down together and never cover each other. A tap blocks the host and closes the room, and the screen you land on offers Unblock for a couple of seconds, like it does in the feed. It hides along with the rest when LIVE Clear screen is on, while you record the room's screen so it isn't in the video, and while the LIVE plays in the picture-in-picture window (#138).Auto tap in LIVE roomsadds an Auto tap button to LIVE rooms. Tap it and it taps the stream at a steady pace until you tap it again, leave or swipe to another room, leave TikTok or lock the screen.Auto tap speedpicks 2, 4, 6 or 8 taps a second. The button sits right under the record button, keeps tapping but stays out of sight while you record the room's screen, and it starts off. It's in Hushfeed settings > Playback (#335).Offer Audio only in LIVE qualityadds Audio only to a LIVE room's Video quality list when the room sends its sound on its own. Pick it and the room keeps playing the sound without downloading the picture, so you can record a LIVE without paying for the video twice. Record still saves the full video from the stream. WithLIVE recording sourceset to the screen, Record asks you to pick a video quality first, since the screen would only show a still picture. It only lasts for that room, and the next LIVE opens at the last picture quality you picked. It starts off, and it lives in Hushfeed settings > Playback. Thanks to @Ahmed-Razo0r (#265).- The new
Account cleanuppatch addsRemove all reposts,Remove all likesandClear Favoritesto Hushfeed settings > Privacy. Each one counts down so you can cancel, then takes things off your account one at a time with a short pause between them, and shows how many it removed.Clear Favoritesalso clears the saved videos TikTok shows as unavailable because they were deleted (#332). - Hushfeed builds on Morphe patcher 2.2.0 now, so it needs Morphe Manager 2.4.0 or newer, or morphe-desktop 2.0.0 on a computer. Older Managers refuse the bundle.
Bug Fixes
- Turning off
Long-press Profile for Watch historygives the Profile tab its account switcher back. On some phones holding Profile did nothing at all once the switch was off (#341). - Screen recordings of a LIVE no longer stop short with "Recording stopped early". When the picture barely moved, a small frame looked damaged to the step that checks the recording before saving it, so the saved video ended at that frame, often a few seconds in (#37).
- The sound in a screen recording of a LIVE no longer cuts out early or drifts away from the picture when the phone is busy. Android throws away sound an app doesn't pick up within about a second, and the recorder ran at background priority, so a busy phone kept it waiting longer than that. Now the sound is picked up on its own thread as it arrives, and the recorder runs at normal priority while it records, which also keeps the picture from skipping (#37).
- For You no longer freezes after a swipe with the first video's sound still playing and the next video stuck on its cover. On some starts TikTok never told the For You page it was on screen, so its videos never started. Now Hushfeed notices a For You feed that's in front but was never shown and shows it to TikTok, the way a tap on Home would. It doesn't depend on
Feed tab navigation, and a feed that plays normally is left alone. Hide message streakstakes the streak button off chats, the share panel, Friends and stories, and the streak reminder off your chat list. Before, it hid nothing, since TikTok no longer asks the spot Hushfeed was answering.- Saves work again after one that was cut off while Hushfeed was writing its first record of files still to be published. That half-written record used to count as damaged, and every save after it failed. Now it's thrown away, since nothing was published under it, and the next save goes through.
- A save that runs TikTok out of memory while it copies the file ends as a failed save. Before, the error got past the save and took TikTok down with it.
- With
Send TikTok through a proxyset up with a password, the relay that signs in for TikTok turns down a site name with a line break or a space in it instead of passing it to the proxy, and it sends an IPv6 address the way a proxy expects it, in square brackets (#304). - When Feature Gate Lab can't read TikTok's values, the message on screen no longer carries the error's technical text. That goes to the log, and the screen keeps to what to do next.
- The delete button next to each recent settings search is a full-size tap target now, and a screen reader calls it a button.
- The Clear button on the Inbox search bar dims while there's nothing to clear.
- Deleting the files of a LIVE recording says
Recording files deletedrather thanDone. - The save picker lists a taller copy the video carries on its own when TikTok's gears stop at 720p. Before, it only looked past the gears when they stopped lower than that, so a 1080p copy never made the list (#240).
New device identitysays outright that it's off until you tap it and runs once, and it shows when an identity is in use. A newUse this phone's own IDsrow takes TikTok back to the phone's real IDs. If a step of the wipe keeps failing it gives up after three starts, where before it could've carried on with new IDs at every launch. The diagnostic report lists how many wipes ran, without the IDs.- What you type in a LIVE room's comment box is readable under
Dark LIVE panels in dark modenow, on a recommended build too. The fix used to come only withAMOLED dark theme, so everyone else typed dark text on a dark bar. With the switch off, the box keeps TikTok's own colors (#323). - Under
Dark LIVE panels in dark mode, the heart and emoji buttons on a LIVE room's comment bar are white now. With a customAMOLED dark themecolor they came out nearly the same shade as the bar and disappeared. The white panel with the soft glow behind the emoji picker's send and delete buttons takes the dark color of the panel around it too, and colored buttons, photos and emoji keep their look (#329). Auto-advance videosnow moves on from videos you open from a profile or a list, where TikTok has no auto scroll of its own. Before, the first one just looped at its end (#311).- A sorted profile or Liked grid stays out of sight while its pages load, with a small spinner and a running count, then shows once in its final order. Before, you watched it reshuffle page by page, and a pull to refresh looked like it had dropped the order.
- The Inbox doesn't flicker when it opens with
Hide stories trayon. The tray used to go a moment too late, so the chats jumped down and back up. The same fix covers every other row the Inbox hides. - A full name typed after an @ in a bio, like @FIRST Last, is one link now and opens a search for that name. Before, only the first word lit up, and it opened a stranger's profile or nothing. A name like @josé no longer links as @jos.
- A name in a bio with a date stuck to it, like @Hannahraines11/30/24, searches for the whole thing now instead of opening whatever account matches the part before the slash. Mentions picked from TikTok's own list in the bio editor keep TikTok's link, which opens the exact person (#247).
Thumbs down blocks the commentertakes that person's comments out of the list right away now. Before, the comment only dimmed and stayed where it was.Pause the video while comments are openstops a video opened from a profile or from Activity as soon as the comments open, even when it has no comments yet. It used to wait for the first comment to load there, so a video with none kept playing (#316).Hide the Send to rowandHide people and options by namereach the row of friends in the menu a long press on a comment opens. They only reached the share sheet's row before.AMOLED dark themeturns the gray cards in the comment menu and the long-press video menu black, along with the panel behind them.- The "Saving video" message no longer sits under the "Video saved" banner on a quick save. The banner takes its place.
- With
Let other apps play until a video startson, music from another app comes back when you leave a video for your messages, a profile or another tab. TikTok used to keep the sound until you closed it. It asks again when the next video plays, and a video you've paused on the feed still holds on to it. Network proxyworks with a proxy that has a user name and password now, for both HTTP and SOCKS5. Before, TikTok's own traffic couldn't sign in, so the app acted like it had no connection.Network proxyno longer says a working proxy is down because one website behind it failed. It asks the proxy first, and gives a slow proxy a second try. A wrong password gets its own message.Speed menu choicesand the offline video limit no longer ask you to restart TikTok twice in a row when the settings are in another language.Network proxywith a user name and password keeps working when Android won't give TikTok another thread. The connection that didn't get one is dropped and TikTok tries it again. Before, that could close TikTok outright.- A Hushfeed dialog that's still open when TikTok closes the screen under it closes along with that screen now. Before, it hung on to the screen after it was gone.
- The hold that covers the feed scrolls when it doesn't fit, like at Android's largest text and display sizes or in split screen, so you can always get to the buttons at the bottom. They used to get squeezed off the bottom with no way to reach them, and now the text fades at an edge when there's more past it.
- Your recent settings searches stay put while Hushfeed is paused. The list used to come up empty, and the next search you sent wiped out the ones before it.
- Comments in your own language get Hushfeed's comment controls again. Since TikTok 47.5.3 only the comments TikTok offered to translate got them, so on most rows
Thumbs down blocks the commenterleft TikTok's thumbs down alone. Now every row's thumbs down blocks, andHide like counts on commentsandHide the thumbs down on commentsreach every row, replies included. - The README's install steps point at the TikTok build Hushfeed patches now. After v0.80.0 went out they still sent you to 47.5.3, which v0.80.0 doesn't patch.
- The README's install steps say what to do where Morphe Manager runs as a 32-bit app. There it gives the patcher only 1 GB, which Hushfeed fits in by itself but not with patches from several other sources beside it (#339). The README's patch count also includes
Account cleanupnow. Keep the screen's refresh ratesays up front that TikTok doesn't ask for a rate on every phone. Where it doesn't, the switch has nothing to stop.Keep a streak goingfinds a friend you enter by the name your Inbox shows for them, emoji and all, like "Lina 🌸". Until now a name like that was only looked for among group chats, so a one to one streak needed the @username. A group with the same name still wins, and two friends who share a name are left alone (#289).See-through bottom barshows the video behind the tabs again. TikTok 47.6.3 started nudging the video up a little, and since the picture grew from its middle, its bottom edge stopped short and a black strip sat under the tabs on every video.Hide TikTok's Auto scroll buttonalso hides the Auto scroll label at the top of the video. With Auto-advance on, it used to show up anyway (#342).- The hold speed bubble shows on videos opened from search, a profile or a chat. The speed still changed there, but the bubble was drawn behind the video where you couldn't see it (#248).
Behind the scenes
- The release walk keeps its device reserved from the install until Android's code check is done, so another job can't take the phone in between and cost a walk that passed. It cold boots the emulator it starts and waits for a paused video to settle before it reads the screen. A LIVE that never sits still gets swiped past instead of tapped, since a tap opens the LIVE room. It turns off an emulator's system animations for the walk and puts them back after, because a creator's animated avatar ring kept the screen from being read.
- Editing the release scripts no longer makes the saved patch audit results look out of date. They run after the APK is built, so they don't count as audit inputs anymore.
- Running a release again after it stopped partway through its first step finishes that step now. It used to find the half-made edits, decide the release was already prepared and skip the commit. A walk that stops early can't be read through the walk before it anymore, and a failed repo description update stops the run instead of passing without a word.
- What's new keeps a release in English when its translated notes were drafted against a different list than the English one, so no language shows its own, shorter set of changes.
- When a fingerprint stops matching on a new TikTok build,
NearestMethodsReportlists the three methods closest to it on each supported build, with the parts each one misses. Name the fingerprint inHUSHFEED_NEAREST. PointingHUSHFEED_NEAREST_FROMat an older APK it still matches also scores each method by how much it looks like the one the fingerprint took there. - Nine more TikTok lookups find their method faster while patching: the follow feed, the sticker rows, the photo slide fit and the profile menu. Each one now names a call, a field it reads, a type check or a cast that the patcher keeps an index of. Every one of them used to take 140 to 630 ms on 47.6.3, and now none is slow enough to show up in
--validate. - Patching 47.6.3 spends about a second less looking for methods. The read receipts and clear display lookups now name a field they read or write.
Use system fontandAMOLED dark themefind the web page callbacks in one pass instead of two, and the tab badge dot is looked up inside its count's class rather than across the whole app. - Four more lookups find their method faster while patching 47.6.3: the hold gesture's touch listener, the DM sticker preview, the feed's long-press listeners and the Inbox pull refresh. Together they took 550 to 960 ms a run, and none of them is slow enough to show up in
--validatenow. The pull refresh is looked up only in the class that holds the manual refresh. - The patch audit's check that
Hide read receiptsis switched on could never pass. Its pattern had two backspace characters where the word edges belonged, so it failed even with the switch listed. It looks for the switch's name now. - The audit's comment hook check asked for records that only appear once a comment row's thumbs down is looked up, but it never turned on anything that looks. So it failed on 47.5.3 and 47.6.3 without ever reaching the code it asks about. It now switches on
Thumbs down blocks the commenterfor the check (nothing gets tapped) and stops asking for the link records, which only show up on a comment that has a web address in it. - The audit's Settings section check turns list view off before it opens Settings. In list view a section row doesn't fold open or shut, so the tap the check makes on Inbox did nothing there. The phone's own choice comes back after the check.
Comment toolswon't patch a TikTok build whose comment rows read a comment kept from an earlier row. It stops with an error instead of giving each row the controls for the comment before it.- Four audit checks hold up better after the 47.6.3 run. The filtered count pill check waits until something has actually been filtered, and a quiet session comes out inconclusive instead of failing. Checks that open a video from a profile tap the grid's cover, since the first match was a wrapper that opened nothing. The Settings section check scrolls with slow drags, and a diagnostic report that's still arriving gets up to a minute.
- The audit's
Automatic video advancecheck swipes to a plain video of 3 to 40 seconds before it starts watching. It used to watch whatever came up after the restart, and a photo post, an ad or a video longer than its 45 second window left it inconclusive. - The audit's comment keyword filter check waits for a video with more than 100 comments. The 47.6.3 rerun picked one whose only comment was a GIF, so no word on the list had anything to match and the check failed without ever testing the filter.
- An audit check can now name the patch options it needs. The Accent color check asks for a build patched with Blue and runs only on one, with its results in their own file, since on the default color the patch changes nothing a screenshot can judge. A default build lists it as not judged instead of leaving it in review. Custom launcher icon and Change app name got option checks too, and those read the patched APK without a phone. With the Black on white style the icon's background has to come out white and its note black, and with the name Hush the app and its launcher entry can't still say Hushfeed.
- The patch audit has saved results for TikTok 47.6.3 now, from a full run on a Galaxy S22. 366 of its 381 checks pass and none fail. The other 15 wait on a case the run couldn't set up, like a floating promotion TikTok never served or a video with over 10,000 comments. A second build, patched with the Blue accent, the Black on white icon and the name Hush, passed all three of its option checks.
- Changelog entries and release notes don't open with a "TikTok:" label anymore. Hushfeed only patches TikTok, so the label repeated itself on every line, and Morphe Manager 2.3.0 shows a one-app source's whole list without it. The release scripts stopped adding it, and What's new reads the same as before.
The changelog has every earlier release too.
How to update
- Update Morphe Manager to 2.4.0 or newer, then refresh the Hushfeed source.
- Patch TikTok 47.7.2 from APKMirror. Keep the manager's existing signing key so your login and settings carry over.
The .mpp download is a patch bundle, not a TikTok APK. Installation instructions.
What was checked
- All 147 TikTok patches applied to TikTok 47.7.2 with none failing.
- This exact bundle was patched onto TikTok 47.7.2 and run on a signed-in Galaxy S22. A walk through the whole app opened 27 screens with no crash.
