biorxiv_trend

New tool: month-by-month preprint volume for a topic. One Europe PMC hit count per completed calendar month plus the month in progress, so the numbers inside a bucket always cover the same span.

  • buckets[] — label, dateFrom/dateTo, days, complete, count, perWeek (hits normalised to a week, so a 7-day partial month is comparable with a 31-day one).
  • total, peak — computed over completed months only; a tie keeps the earliest month.
  • monthOverMonth / overall — absolute change plus percent. When the baseline month had zero hits the percent is null, because a growth rate from nothing is not a number.
  • The running month is never silently mixed in: it is listed with complete: false and excluded from totals, peak and both changes.

Exposed on all three surfaces: the dsh tool biorxiv_trend, the MCP server, and dsh-biorxiv trend "<topic>" --months 6.

新增工具 biorxiv_trend

按自然月统计某个主题的预印本数量：已结束的月份各查一次 Europe PMC 命中数，当前月单独列出并标记 complete: false，不计入合计、峰值与两个变化率。perWeek 把每月归一成「每周命中数」，半个多月也能和整月比。基线月为 0 时增长率返回 null，不编一个数字出来。

dsh 工具、MCP 服务与 CLI（dsh-biorxiv trend "<主题>" --months 6）三处同步暴露。

Tests

156 tests (was 145), 100% line coverage. Expectations now come from a committed oracle (test/oracle/anchors.py, --check): month spans including leap February, per-week rounding, totals, peak tie-breaking and the percent rule are re-derived from the calendar module instead of restated in the test file.

Release preflight for the public package.

Changes

  • MCP serverInfo.version now derives from package.json; a regression test guards version drift.
  • Packaged docs are checked for references to private project files; the shipped skill and changelog no longer point at private evidence.
  • README: one-command GitHub install, five MCP tools (including biorxiv_digest), version-independent tarball build instructions.
  • Added PRIVACY.md covering the public-data boundary, local cache, and opt-in summaries.
  • 145 tests; 100% line coverage.

Install

dsh plugin --profile headless add github:TYEclipse/dsh-biorxiv#v0.1.0-alpha.20

Replace headless with the target profile. pnpm must be on PATH.
