⚡ Quick Install (Non-Elevated PowerShell)

Run in a standard (non-administrator) PowerShell window:

Zero-elevation install into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\inFaux, sets up shortcuts, Task Scheduler autostart without UAC prompts, and cryptographically validates SHA-256 hashes.

  • 🔋 UPS Hardware Auto-Detection & Source-of-Truth:
    • Automatically identifies USB-connected Uninterruptible Power Supplies (CyberPower, APC, Tripp Lite, etc.) and desktop enclosures via pure user-mode Win32/HID.
    • Replaces generic "BATTERY" labels on desktop PCs with dedicated UPS status, displaying true hardware model names, AC utility line status, and battery pack charge.
  • 🌡️ Thermodynamic Observer v1.2.0 Invariants & BTHome Stability:
    • Invariant 0 (Tier 1 BTHome BLE Freshness Gate): Respects ultra-low-power coin-cell beacon behavior (broadcasts on $\Delta T \ge 0.1^\circ\text{C}$ or $\Delta H \ge 1%$), retaining sensor freshness for up to 10 minutes so stable room temperatures never trigger false dropouts.
    • Zero-Bounce Disconnection Fallback: When a BTHome sensor goes offline or out of range, the engine smoothly cascades into Tier 2 physical anchors without discontinuous temperature jumps.
    • Invariant 1 (I/O-Gated Storage Floor): Disqualifies active storage drives (> 2.0 MB/s) from baseline ambient calculations, preventing heavy write bursts (e.g. Steam downloads) from falsely pulling ambient estimates upward.
    • Invariant 3 (Asymmetric Slew Engine): Clamps upward ambient rise to $+0.5^\circ\text{C}$ per 10 minutes ($+0.05^\circ\text{C}/\text{min}$), eliminating high-frequency bounce from transient CPU load bursts while maintaining natural cooling responsiveness.
  • 🧠 System Memory (RAM) Architecture & Topology Card:
    • Brand-new dedicated RAM Architecture Card in the drilldown view featuring DDR generation (DDR5 / DDR4), configured transfer rates, channel topology, and slot population.
    • Physical DIMM Hardware Breakdown: Live tiles for each installed module displaying capacity, manufacturer (Corsair, G.Skill, Crucial, Kingston, etc.), part number, and configured vs. rated JEDEC speeds.
    • Virtual Memory & Commit Charge Meter: Real-time committed virtual memory monitoring alongside physical RAM to catch Out-Of-Memory (OOM) conditions before games or renderers crash.
    • Driver Leak Sentinel: Live Non-Paged Pool monitoring to spot driver memory leaks immediately.
    • Unit Fix: Fixed clock speed display to correctly format as MT/s (e.g. 6000 MT/s) instead of dividing into GHz.
  • 🎮 GPU Custom Renaming & Aliasing:
    • Click ✏️ Rename or right-click any GPU pill to customize display names and labels across inFaux, the REST/WebSocket API, and Stream Deck.
  • Built-In Stream Deck Companion (v1.2.0):
    • Updated bundled plugin package with custom GPU alias support and 1-click install/sync from the Settings tab.
  • 🪟 UX & System Tray Polish:
    • Single left-click on the tray badge now immediately opens and focuses the dashboard.

    • Seamless second-instance broadcast wakeup: launching inFaux while already running brings the existing window to the front without any blocking alert dialogs.
    • Fixed toggle switch tooltip placement to eliminate border color flickering on mouse movement.
