What's New

  • The installer now restarts itself without Administrator rights if it was started as Administrator.
  • The install folder is checked before anything is installed: system folders and folders without write permission are blocked.
  • Red warning (no questions) if the install path or the Windows user folder contains non-English characters.
  • Fixed problems with folder names that contain brackets, apostrophes, parentheses or & in Start/Update scripts, Torch-Pack, Easy-model2GGUF, Easy-Models-Linker and the Desktop shortcut.
  • Fixed Long-Paths-Enabler on systems where the Server service is disabled.
  • The installer stops with a clear message if Python, pip or uv fail to install (e.g. blocked by antivirus).
  • Added checksum verification of the Python archive and removed insecure download fallbacks.
