Augry v0.7.0

Databases and Discord in your processes. New SQL connections for SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB and SQL Server, with steps to run a query, run a SQL file and wait for a database; later steps can use the rows they return. A Discord connection takes as many webhooks and bots as you like, with seven steps from posting a message to waiting for a reply.

  • Let agents drive Augry. Turn on Agent access (MCP) in Settings → General, and Claude Code or Codex can list, start, answer and stop your runs through a local MCP server. One click adds it to either agent.
  • Run notifications. Augry sends a system notification when a run finishes, fails or waits on you. Click it to jump to that run.
  • Clone from Git. Clone a repository straight into a new terminal, from the empty state or the + Pane menu.
  • Artifacts panel. An Artifacts button in the run bar lists every file a run wrote, with a preview of the markdown ones.
  • Build by chatting, now with Codex. Pick Claude Code or Codex to draft a process. When a step needs a connection you haven't set up, the chat offers to set it up.
  • Smaller things. Your GitHub picture shows on your account, the Process, Terminals and Notes tabs sit in the middle of the window again on macOS, and back arrows line up with their labels.

Build a process by chatting. Chat to an agent is a new option in the New process menu and on the empty Processes home. Describe what you want, Claude Code drafts the process, and a preview beside the chat redraws as it changes. Copy to my processes saves the draft and opens it in the editor.

  • Codex task step. A step on a Codex row now hands work to OpenAI's Codex CLI, in a pane or headless, the way the Claude Code step does. Its permissions are Codex's own presets: auto, readOnly or fullAccess.
  • Run logs. A Logs button in the run bar opens a list of everything a run did: when it started and ended, each step's state changes with their notes, and every retry. Click a step name to find it on the lanes.
  • Windows theme. A new Fluent theme follows your Windows light or dark setting and your accent colour, with Mica on Windows 11. It's the default on Windows unless you've picked another theme in Settings.
  • Terminal font preview. Settings and first-run setup show sample terminal output in the font and size you pick, and tell you if that font isn't installed.

Augry v0.6.4

@LiamDotPro LiamDotPro released this 25 Oct 22:39

Docker. Docker is now a connection. Its card in On this computer shows the engine, Compose and context, and says what's wrong when Docker isn't installed, isn't running or is too old. Five new steps (compose up, compose down, run, exec and build) run in a pane, and everything a run starts is torn down when the run ends. A process can also start on a Docker event, such as a container becoming healthy or an image finishing its build.

  • Resume a stopped run. A run you stopped has a Resume button next to Run again. It picks up where it stopped, and steps that already finished aren't run again.
  • A new Add step menu. Search steps by name, and find them grouped by tool. A tool's steps show once it's connected.
  • The title bar shows the Augry logo and name together, a size up.
  • Fixes. The run switcher menu no longer opens behind the canvas. Opening a Process sheet now dims the title bar too, and the sheet itself is no longer dimmed.

Augry v0.6.3

@LiamDotPro LiamDotPro released this 24 Oct 20:47

Idea to tickets. A new template in the Template store: describe an idea, Claude writes a brief and a ticket list, you review and edit the tickets, and they go to Linear or Jira as a project with linked tickets and a summary. On the way there's an optional design in Claude Design, with a canvas link on each ticket.

  • Steps that wait for you. Approve, Ask, Decide and Review tickets stop a run until you answer, even across a restart. Runs waiting on you are grouped under Needs you on Processes.
  • Jira is a connection. Add an Atlassian API token on the Connections page to create epics and stories with Blocks links and comments.
  • The Template store is now its own screen. Click a card to review its steps before you copy it. A template can ask questions as you copy it, such as where the tickets go.
  • AI usage. A chip in the top bar shows your Claude Code and Codex subscription limits.
  • Compact layout. Notes, Process and Settings run to the window edge.

Augry v0.6.2

@LiamDotPro LiamDotPro released this 24 Oct 10:51

Linear is now a connection. Add a Linear personal API key on the Connections page (the Add key sheet walks you through making one, and can copy a prompt for an AI assistant to help).

  • Start a process from Linear issues that match a filter, such as team:ENG state:Todo label:agent, from the Run sheet or with Automatic.
  • Five new steps: comment on an issue, move it to a state, label it, assign it, and create an issue, with your teams and workflow states to pick from.
  • Steps can use the issue's details, such as {{ticket.id}} and {{ticket.branch}}. Name a branch {{ticket.branch}} and Linear's GitHub integration links the pull request.
  • Your key stays in your system's credential store and is checked with Linear before it is saved.

Augry v0.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@LiamDotPro LiamDotPro released this 24 Oct 10:51

Augry now updates itself. From this version on, Augry checks for new releases in the background, downloads them quietly and offers a restart when one is ready. It never restarts on its own, and if terminals or runs are open it tells you what a restart would stop first. Turn off "Download automatically" in Settings, General to choose when to download. 0.6.0 can’t update itself, so this one version is installed by hand.

  • Worktrees. A worktree dialog, and a one-click way back to the main checkout. Panes in a subfolder of the main checkout no longer show as a worktree.
  • A designed macOS installer window when you open the DMG.
  • Fixes. Up and down reach a widened short row, closing a pane that ran Claude no longer warns, and the unreadable-process warning has a way out.

Installed from the .msi, .deb or .rpm? Augry tells you when a new version is out and links to the Downloads page.

Augry v0.6.0

Choose a tag to compare

@LiamDotPro LiamDotPro released this 24 Oct 10:51

Terminal Grid is now Augry. It installs as a new app. On first start it brings your settings, session and saved processes across from Terminal Grid and leaves the old app as it was, so you can delete Terminal Grid once Augry is set up.

  • Processes. Turn routine work into a process: shell commands, Claude Code tasks and GitHub steps in stages, run step by step in their own panes. Build them in the editor and drag steps, stages and values into place.
  • Runs that survive. Retry a failed run from the step that failed, with everything before it kept. An interrupted Claude Code step resumes its own session instead of starting over.
  • GitHub steps. Connect GitHub once, then comment on, label or close an issue and open issues and pull requests from a process.
  • An optional account. Sign in with GitHub to create or join a team, share processes with it, install the starter templates and sync your notes. Everything else works without an account and offline.
  • Settings is a page: General, your account and each team, saved as you go.
  • A new look: the bird and sign logo and new app icons.
