We are excited to announce the official 1.0.0 release of Redline Pro, a standalone, client-side engineering review workbench and drawing comparison studio.

Redline Pro brings fast drawing diffing, full PDF markup capabilities, bi-directional CAD conversion, and industrial PCB CAM inspection into a single desktop application—completely offline with zero external network dependencies and zero telemetry.

  • A/B Drawing Compare & Registration:

    • Sub-pixel automated alignment detecting translation (dx, dy) and rotational skew.
    • 3-Point Fiducial Snap for matching reference points across schematic revisions.
    • Real-time 60 FPS Split Curtain slider and 4x Loupe inspector.
    • Jump-to-Defect navigator with noise filtering and checklist triage (Open, Approved, Flagged, Ignored).

  • PDF Studio & Engineering Typography:

    • Direct on-page inline WYSIWYG text editing and annotation.
    • Streamlined Font & Paragraph ribbon with unified point-size selection (8–72 pt + custom sizing) and stepping controls.
    • 18+ built-in engineering typefaces plus on-the-fly .ttf, .otf, and .woff custom font loading.
    • ANSI/ISO scalloped revision clouds, multi-point leader callouts, and cryptographic SHA-256 verification stamps.

  • Bi-Directional AutoCAD DXF Engine:

    • Export vector PDF drawing paths and text directly to AutoCAD R12/2000 ASCII .dxf.

Installation & Getting Started

Pre-Built Binaries (Windows)

  • Portable: Download RedlinePro-Portable-1.0.0.exe and run immediately without installation.
  • Installer: Download RedlinePro-Setup-1.0.0.exe for desktop shortcuts and file associations (.pdf, .dxf, .gbr).
