Playback recovery and automatic lyrics.

  • A stream that stops before its advertised length resumes from where it stopped, re-resolving the URL and then trying a different audio stream, up to three attempts.
  • A refused stream (HTTP 403) is retried with a freshly resolved URL instead of skipping the song.
  • If recovery still fails, playback pauses with a message instead of quietly moving on.
  • Only a missing file or denied permission skips a track now.
  • Lyrics load automatically from LRCLIB by artist, title and duration, with caching, instrumental detection and a source credit in the player.
  • Rewriting of YouTube's signed stream URLs was removed, because it could itself cause source errors.
