Please note, due to the bug MCPE-152216 in the latest Minecraft version, you cannot actually equip custom skins. There are 2 ways you can go around this, firstly you can use a version switcher (I use FoxyNoTails, but there are easier ones to setup, such as BedrockLauncher ) and enable the skin you want to use in an older version.
Alternatively you can rename the pack to a .zip and enable each skin individually as a custom skin.
