Moira 6.12.0 repairs how the engine keeps UT1 (Earth rotation) and TT (precession, nutation, ephemeris) apart, adds Python 3.15 wheels, and adds Lilly's 1647 horary perfection routes.
Highlights
- Time scales: sidereal time, the equation of the equinoxes, star heliacal search, the lunar-limb profile, leap-second display and the Hermetic decan Ascendant now use the correct clock. Bundled EOP and leap-second data were re-synced.
- Python 3.15:
cp315wheels for every platform, with a dedicated 3.15 compatibility gate. - Lilly horary:
lilly_reception_at,lilly_moon_trace_at,lilly_void_of_course_atandlilly_perfection_routes_at, plusPOST /v1/horary/lilly-reception,/lilly-moonand/perfection-routes. - Fixed stars: selectable position products; Sirius and the alpha Centauri pair corrected.
- Geodetic and Hellenistic: expanded analysis, timing and sensitivity on the facade and over REST; extended aspect, point and Kalachakra coverage.
Upgrade notes
- A fixed-star position without a named product is now the apparent place and needs a planetary kernel. Pass
product="astrometric"for the previous result. - Native
moira._moira_nativesidereal-time and visibility functions take newjd_tt/delta_targuments. - A direct sidereal geodetic chart needs an explicit
ayanamsa_deg; a tropical geodetic request that carries an ayanamsa is refused.
