• Updating via Home Assistant: An update initiated through Home Assistant will restore the device to its factory default settings. As a result, you will need to re-provision the device to your Wi-Fi network.

• For Customized Devices: If you have made any modifications using the ESPHome Builder, please use that platform to update the firmware. This will preserve your custom configuration.
