Changelog

All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.

The format is based on Keep a Changelog,
and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

[5.4.0] - 2026-11-04

Added

  • Action Combat Mode is now translated into German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French, Italian, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The options window, Setup Wizard, editors, Radial Menu, chat messages and the Key Bindings screen follow your game language. The translations are machine-drafted, so corrections are welcome (see CONTRIBUTING).

Changed

  • Wheel names on the Radial Menu are now shortened by characters instead of bytes, so Cyrillic and Chinese names are no longer cut in the middle of a letter.
  • Buttons, sidebar tabs and the Setup Wizard balloon make room for longer translations.
  • Keyboard keybinds on the Assist HUD use your game language's font, so Korean, Russian and Chinese key names draw correctly.

[5.3.3] - 2026-11-03

Changed

  • The Setup Wizard's Party Wheel step shows one more screenshot.

[5.3.2] - 2026-10-31

Added

  • Vignette Shows When (Mouse Look tab, Additional Features) replaces the Vignette Effect toggle: check Mouse Look is on, In combat and/or Talking to an NPC, and use Vignette Match to show it when Any or All of them are true. Uncheck everything to turn it off. Your current setting carries over.
  • The Setup Wizard shows in-game screenshots of each feature as a short slideshow above the explanation.
  • The Setup Wizard has a new step for Party Wheel Spells.

Changed

  • Keybinds on the Assist HUD are shortened the way most action bar addons do it: Shift+F shows as "SF", mouse button 4 as "B4", mouse wheel up as "WU". The Interact key on the Interaction HUD uses the same short labels.
  • The Setup Wizard is shorter: the Excluded Spells and Advanced steps are gone. Both settings are still on their tabs.
  • The Ally Cycle HUD preview on the Ally Cycle tab now cycles through four example allies ("Ally 1" to "Ally 4"), each with its own class colour and role, instead of showing your name. It also no longer shows the Assist HUD, only the crosshair and the Ally Cycle HUD.
  • The Ally Cycle HUD Position can now only be Top or Bottom, so it never overlaps the Assist HUD. If yours was set to Left or Right, it moves to Bottom.

[5.3.1] - 2026-10-30

Added

  • When aiming the crosshair at a player outside of combat for more than a second, the Interact key now opens that player's context menu and frees the cursor (with Auto Unlock enabled). Interactions with NPCs and objects still work as before.
  • The Assist HUD now shows a prompt when you aim at a player for at least a second. Turn it off with Player Interaction Prompt, under Assist HUD.
  • Show Tooltips With (Mouse Look tab, Additional Features): with Hide Tooltips on, hold Alt (default), Ctrl or Shift to see the tooltip of what you're aiming at (out of combat only).
  • What's New button in the options window, next to the version: opens a list of every new option and tab. Click an entry to jump straight to it; the list stays open.

[5.3.0] - 2026-10-30

Added

  • Party Wheel (Radial Menu tab): add helpful spells to Party Wheel Spells, then hold one of their keys to open a wheel of your group. Flick toward a member and release to cast on them, or tap to cast normally. Each member shows their health, role and name, with the same warnings as the Ally Cycle HUD. In a raid, scroll to page through members.
  • Right-click now cancels the Radial Menu and the Party Wheel, like Esc.

Changed

  • The Ally Cycle HUD shows first names only, so follower and companion NPCs ("Brann") fit.
  • Cycling allies now plays the same click as aiming a Radial Menu slice, so it's easier to hear.
  • The Ally Cycle HUD shows "Dead" or "Offline" in place of the name. An offline target is desaturated like a dead one, keeping their last known health.

[5.2.5] - 2026-10-26

Fixed

  • Radial Menu no longer shows tooltips for whatever is under the cursor while the wheel is open and you are picking a slice.

[5.2.4] - 2026-10-25

Fixed

  • The Interaction HUD no longer throws a "numeric conversion on a secret number value" error when leaving a dungeon or other instance.

[5.2.3] - 2026-10-24

Added

  • Minimum Zoom slider in the Camera Features section of the Mouse Look tab: the camera stops at the chosen distance when you zoom in (defaults to 3, 0 turns it off). It works with DynamicCam and SteadyCam too.

Changed

  • Every section of the options window now has a short description of the feature under its heading.
  • Prelines Editor now shows a live character counter under each preline, like the Macro Composer.
  • Setup Wizard step text is split into short paragraphs with the key terms highlighted in the accent color, so it is easier to read.
  • Mouse Look tab: Cursor Pulse, Vignette Effect, Hide Tooltips and Auto Sheath moved into a new Additional Features section below Camera Features.

Fixed

  • Radial Menu editor: the pip tooltip no longer shows while you click and hold or drag a pip to reorder your wheels.

[5.2.2] - 2026-10-22

Added

  • Two new crosshair textures in the Crosshair Textures editor (Pack #200 and #201).

Changed

  • Radial Menu slices now use Blizzard's gamepad action bar button art: the slice you aim at lights up with a glowing ring, and slices that can't be used right now turn grey.
  • Radial Menu has a new style option: Minimal (default) uses Blizzard's radial menu background (soft vignette, centre ring and thin dividers) with its focus glow on the aimed slice, Forever keeps the original wheel.
  • Radial Menu UI shortcuts (Character Info, Spellbook, Talents, World Map, Bags, Professions, Quest Log, Guild, Group Finder, Collections, Adventure Guide, Calendar, Friends, Game Menu, Macros and a few more) now show Blizzard's own radial menu icon art in place of the round slot, and commands like Ready Check, Duel or Inspect use that art as the icon inside the round slot.
  • Radial Menu editor shows one pip per wheel under the wheel name: click a pip to select that wheel, drag it to reorder your wheels.

Fixed

  • A Force Lock condition that is often true no longer breaks the vignette, Shoulder Offset and Sheath Weapons with Mouse Look: tapping the Mouse Look key while Force Lock is active is ignored (unless Force Lock Once is on), so the vignette and offset stay with Mouse Look and weapons are no longer sheathed while it is on.

[5.2.1] - 2026-10-21

Added

  • Sounds section in the Advanced tab: switch off the cue sounds of Mouse Look, Target Lock, Radial Menu or Ally Cycle, one toggle per feature. All stay on by default.

Changed

  • Target Outline is now disabled on clients other than Retail, where it drew no outline. Action Combat Mode no longer changes the outline CVars there.
  • Ally Cycle is available again on Forever, now that the client provides loadstring_untainted.

[5.2.0] - 2026-10-21

Added

  • Radial Menu: hold a key, move the mouse toward a slice and release to use it. Build up to 5 wheels of 8 slices (saved per character) in the new Radial Menu tab, which shows the wheel: click a slice to choose what it does, drop a spell, item, toy, mount or macro on it, drag it onto another to reorder, right-click to remove it, and use the centre - to remove a wheel or + to add one from the Interface, Emotes or Misc presets or a blank wheel. Each wheel can be renamed and has its own highlight colour, page dots under the name show which wheel is open, and scrolling the mouse wheel switches wheels while it is open (Escape cancels). New characters start with Interface, Emotes and Misc wheels. Unbound by default: pick a key in the tab. Subtle sounds play when the wheel opens, closes, changes slice or wheel, and when you use a slice.- Soft click sounds now play when Mouse Look turns on and off.
  • Swap Shoulder keybind: mirrors your Shoulder Offset to the other side of the character, easing across. Find it in the Key Bindings under Action Combat Mode.
  • The Action dropdown in Click Casting now groups its choices under Action Combat Mode, Modified Blizzard Actions and Blizzard Actions headers.

Changed

  • Next-cast Suggestion is now disabled on clients other than Retail, where Blizzard's Assisted Highlight does not exist.
  • Excluded Spells and Cast at Crosshair now start empty on a fresh install, and Unlock Mounts is only prefilled with the known vendor mounts on Retail (other clients start empty). Existing lists are kept.
  • Pitch Strength now defaults to 0 for new installs (it was 0.4). Anyone who already set a value keeps it.
  • Config tabs are reordered: Mouse Look, Crosshair, Reticle Targeting, Click Casting, Radial Menu, Ally Cycle, Auto Unlock, Advanced.
  • The setup wizard follows the new tab order, and its Click Casting, Radial Menu and Auto Unlock parts first highlight the whole section before walking through its options. Click Casting now explains switching modifier tabs and choosing Left and Right Click actions, and Auto Unlock no longer has a separate toggle step.

Fixed

  • The options window and its editors stay open when you open the spellbook, bags or other game panels, so you can drag spells and items from them straight onto a Radial Menu slice. Esc still closes the window.
  • Toggle Focus Any and Toggle Focus Enemy click-cast actions now follow Target Lock Behavior (tap to lock or h...

  • Toggle Focus Any and Toggle Focus Enemy click-cast actions now follow Target Lock Behavior (tap to lock or hold) and update when you change it.

[5.1.3] - 2026-10-20

Added

  • The Toggle Focus Any and Toggle Focus Enemy click-cast actions are back in the Click Casting list. They always tap to lock and tap again to unlock, whatever Target Lock Behavior is set to. New installs get Alt + Right Click on Toggle Focus Any again; slots turned off since 5.1.0 stay off until you pick an action.

[5.1.2] - 2026-10-19

Added

  • Crosshair Textures editor: Appearance (Crosshair tab) and Situational Appearance (Advanced tab) now open a texture browser instead of a dropdown. Pick the Inactive and Active texture separately from over 200 new crosshairs (plus the existing ones), or apply one of five preset pairs (Arrows, Default, Diamond, Ornated, Triangle) in one click. Appearance also gets separate Mounted and Disabled textures for the reticle shown while mounted or while Target Lock holds it (the Dot by default). Every state has an eye button (top-right of its card) that hides the crosshair for just that state; this replaces the Invisible situational choice (hiding both states does the same). The older Bracket, Cross, Dot, Inverted Y, Line, Split, Square and X presets are gone (the new set has equivalents); anyone who had one selected falls back to Default.

[5.1.1] - 2026-10-19

Fixed

  • The Assist HUD frame stays copper in both modes. The blue next-cast tint now applies only to the glow, and the animation keeps its original colors.
  • Pressing Esc with the Run MACRO dropdown open now closes only the dropdown. Before, it closed the whole options window and left the dropdown open.
  • Ally Cycle is turned off again on WoW Forever. Forever still cannot run the secure code it needs, which caused errors; the Ally Cycle tab shows it as unavailable there.

[5.1.0] - 2026-10-18

Added

  • Reticle Targeting Macros (Reticle Targeting tab): a list of your macros that begin with the Reticle Targeting logic, shown as icons. Drag one onto an action bar (or click it to pick it up) and it follows your bar swaps. Right-click an icon to edit it. Macros on action bars cannot inherit Reticle Targeting on their own, so this replaces having to copy the preline into them by hand.

Changelog

All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.

The format is based on Keep a Changelog,
and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

Macros on action bars cannot inherit Reticle Targeting on their own, so this replaces having to copy the preline into them by hand.
  • Macro Composer: press + at the end of the Reticle Targeting Macros list to write a macro. The preline matching your current Reticle Targeting settings is added automatically as a locked, highlighted first line, with a live character counter for the 255-character macro limit. Saving creates a real WoW macro (a character macro, or a general one with Account-Wide Binds), and editing it can also rename or delete it. Macros made this way are updated automatically when Ignore Friendlies, Auto Target Lock or the preline changes.
  • The click-cast Run MACRO dropdown now lists your existing macros with their icons, and tags the ones that carry Reticle Targeting.

  • The Interaction HUD and Combat Assist are now a single Assist HUD (Crosshair tab). On a hostile (hard target or under the crosshair) it shows the Assisted Highlight's next-cast suggestion with your keybind. On an interactable it shows the interaction icon, its name and your Interact key, with a glow and a short animation when it appears.
  • The Next-cast Suggestion fades out while the suggested spell is out of range of your target.
  • Ally Cycle now skips group members who are offline or in another zone or instance, since you can't cast on them. Someone far away in the same zone is still included. Changes are picked up out of combat, so a member who disconnects mid-fight is skipped once combat ends.
  • Target Lock Behavior (Reticle Targeting): choose Toggle (tap to lock, tap again to unlock, as before) or Switch Target (tap while aiming at a unit to move the lock to it, tap with nothing under the crosshair to unlock). Made for arenas and battlegrounds where you need to switch locks in one press.
  • A Flip Camera keybind in the Mouse Look section, below the Interact Unit option. Like Mouse Look it works both ways: tap to flip the camera around you...

Changelog

All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.

The format is based on Keep a Changelog,
and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

Fixed

  • Pressing Esc with the Run MACRO dropdown open now closes only the dropdown. Before, it closed the whole options window and left the dropdown open.
  • Ally Cycle is turned off again on WoW Forever. Forever still cannot run the secure code it needs, which caused errors; the Ally Cycle tab shows it as unavailable there.

Added

  • Reticle Targeting Macros (Reticle Targeting tab): a list of your macros that begin with the Reticle Targeting logic, shown as icons. Drag one onto an action bar (or click it to pick it up) and it follows your bar swaps. Right-click an icon to edit it. • The Shoulder Offset slider now goes from -15 to 15 (it was -2 to 2).
  • The Blizzard art the addon draws with (window frame, health bar, icons, HUD ring and more) is now shipped with the addon instead of read from the game, so it looks the same on every client. The Assets folder is organized into branding, crosshair, assisthud, ui and atlas.
  • The setup wizard has new steps for Excluded Spells, Cast at Crosshair, Reticle Targeting Macros, Targeting Indicators, Unlock Mounts and Extra Frames, and updated Target Lock text.
  • The setup wizard now leaves the crosshair and HUD previews undimmed and outlined (one element per step: the crosshair, the Assist HUD or the Ally HUD), and moves its balloon out of their way.
  • The setup wizard now runs once for existing installs too, not just new ones: the first time you log in after updating, it starts on its own, and the changelog opens when you finish or skip it. The welcome and the wizard are now remembered per account instead of per character, so your other characters don't repeat them.

Fixed

  • The crosshair now returns to its base (white) look when the unit under it is dead, instead of staying red or colored. A corpse you can loot shows the yellow interactable look.
