Angel

Angels are golem-like mobs that can be summoned on an altar. They will not follow you or actively defend you, however, they are hostile to monsters, and will additionally act to defend villagers and golems. When they set their sights on a monster, they will begin targeting it with beams of holy light from above. Periodically while in combat, they will bless nearby allies with the regeneration effect, or curse nearby enemies with the bane effect. While idle, they will keep an eye on the health of nearby players, pets, villagers, and golems, and provide a heal if they are in need.

Principality

Summonable only by those that have proven their mettle by defeating the Adversary, Principalities are powerful golem-like mobs that can fight with their floating blades. While in combat, they will occasionally bless allies with the resistance or blessing effect. Their high health and armor makes them excellent guards.

Cherub

A helpful and supportive angel that can be besought for aid at an altar. Once summoned, they will follow you as a loyal ally, and follow basic commands like stay, follow, and wander. While not the most powerful offensive angel, they make up for it with their supportive abilities, such as healing you and your allies in and out of combat, providing blessings to you, and firing flechettes from their bow.

Power

The tank of the angelic legions, Powers can be entreated to follow you at an altar. In addition to having high health and armor, they deal high amounts of damage with their spears, allowing them to tear through hordes of enemies at your side. They also have access to some defensive abilities, such as casting the resistance effect on you and your allies, and summoning circles of holy light that repel monsters at your feet.

Ophanim

The ranged attacker of the angelic armies. Ophanim can be persuaded to follow you at an altar, after which they will support you by locking on to an enemy and focusing it down with an unrelenting beam of holy light from its eye. In addition to this, the Ophanim has access to a few magical abilities, such as cursing enemies with negative effects, and calling down smiting beams of light to wipe enemies out.

Seraph

Legend tells that the Adversary was once an angel as well, and if you play your cards right, you may see that for yourself. The seraph is a highly powerful jack of all trades, having a mix of abilities from all the angelic familiars, as well as the highest health of any of them. If the seraph should meet its end, it will drop a halo, which can be used on an altar to resummon it, at a hefty virtue cost.

Behemoth

In prehistoric times, a powerful beast ruled over all the others, pacifying them with its mighty roars. By offering a Sniffer egg to an altar, you can resurrect the ancient behemoth for yourself. After a roughly twenty minute incubation time, a young behemoth will hatch. When fully grown, it will hunt monsters actively, goring them with its horn and stomping them flat. It also exudes an aura of peace, rendering normally violent animals calm towards others (for instance, wolves will not attack sheep near a behemoth).

Clergic

In prehistoric times, when the Sniffer still walked the earth, a small theropod known as the Clergic roamed in the dense jungles, hunting small prey and spitting venom at threats. By offering a turtle egg to an altar, you can see this holy beast for yourself. Wild Clergics will hunt chickens and rabbits when hungry, as well as becoming frightened of monsters, spitting holy venom at them which drains their health and inflicts a debilitating bane effect. Clergics can be tamed by feeding them raw chicken.

The Adversary

The boss of this mod, the Adversary will test the player with a variety of attack patterns, switching from a melee-focused mode, to a ranged mode, to a mode where he summons fallen angel minions that will interfere with the fight. At certain points, he will become enraged, putting the player's durability to the test for a short time as he and a small army of minions chase the player down. Once the Adversary lies defeated, what will you do...? Does even he deserve redemption?

By naming the Clergic or Behemoth 'Primal', you can cause them to take on the original coloration they bore in the bygone age when their species still walked the earth.
