fix build on SmartOS

jperkin pushed a commit that referenced this pull request Dec 9, 2013
= Changes in 2.3.2 =

  January 5, 2013 - version 2.3.2

  * Changes

    * #138 Revert Timeout change unintentionally included in v2.3.1. It's
      reported that the change causes background processes not terminated
      properly.

= Changes in 2.3.1 =

  January 1, 2013 - version 2.3.1

  * Changes

    * #137 Signing key is expiring for cacert_sha1.p7s.
      Deleted p7s signature check for default cacerts. Sorry for many troubles
      in the past. This feature is not useful without having online/real-time
      CA certs update but I don't think I can implement it in near future.
      Users depend on this signature check (who puts cacert.p7s in R/W
      filesystem and ssl_config.rb in R/O filesystem) should take care the
      tampering by themself.

  * Bug fixes

    * #122 Support IPv6 address in URI

= Changes in 2.3.0 =

  October 10, 2012 - version 2.3.0

    * Features

      * Added debug mode CLI. bin/httpclient is installed as CLI.
          Usage: 1) % httpclient get https://www.google.co.jp/ q=ruby
          Usage: 2) %httpclient
        For 1) it issues a GET request to the given URI and shows the wiredump
        and the parsed result. For 2) it invokes irb shell with the binding
        that has a HTTPClient as 'self'. You can call HTTPClient instance
        methods like;
          > get "https://www.google.co.jp/", :q => :ruby

      * #119 Addressable gem support (only if it exists); should handle IRI
        properly.

    * Bug fixes

      * #115 Cookies couldn't work properly if the path in an URI is ommited.
      * #112, #117 Proper handling of sized IO (the IO object that responds to
        :size) for chunked POST. HTTPClient did read till EOF even if the
        given IO has :size method.
      * Handle '303 See Other' properly. RFC2616 says it should be redirected
        with GET.
      * #116 Fix "100-continue" support. It was just ignored.
      * #118 Support for boolean values when making POST/PUT requests with
        multiipart/form Content-Type.
      * #110 Allows leading dots in no_proxy hostname suffixes.

          Usage: 1) % httpclient get https://www.google.co.jp/ q=ruby
          Usage: 2) %httpclient
        For 1) it issues a GET request to the given URI and shows the wiredump

      * #112, #117 Proper handling of sized IO (the IO object that responds to
        :size) for chunked POST. HTTPClient did read till EOF even if the
        given IO has :size method.
      * Handle '303 See Other' properly. RFC2616 says it should be redirected
        with GET.
      * #116 Fix "100-continue" support. It was just ignored.

=============

- Tig now has its own tag on Stack Overflow, where users are invited to
   ask questions: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/tig

Improvements:

- Make tig prompt commands bindable to keys. For example:
   `bind diff F :set diff-options = --full-diff`. (GH #69, #116)
- Add a diff-options setting for specifying default diff options.
   Example: `set diff-options = --patience`. (GH #116)
- Options in diff-options and blame-options matching tig browsing state
   variables are replaced.
- Show diff stats as wide as the terminal. (GH #109)
- Show line numbers in the branch view. (GH #135)

   by adding `set editor-line-number = no` to ~/.tigrc. (GH #118, #119)
- Add toggle-files to control whether to show full commit diff or only
   the diff concerning the currently selected file, e.g. for blame.
- Optionally highlight exceeding characters in long commit titles.
   The default title max width is 50 characters. Customize using:
   `set title-overflow = 50` (GH #125)
- Add +ESC key bindings. Example: `bind generic ^[v move-page-up` (GH #120)
- Create temporary files in TMPDIR, TEMP, or TMP before defaulting to /tmp.
- Reenable `tig log` as a subcommand. (GH #146)
- Enable tilde expansion in ~/.tigrc "source" commands. (GH #168)

- Reload current branch name when reloading the status view. (GH #93)
- Fix compile errors on old Solaris. (GH #97)
- Reload HEAD info when reloading the stage view. (GH #104, #93)

6.0.2
-----

* Issue #262: Fixed regression in pip install due to egg-info directories
  being omitted. Re-opens Issue #118.

-----
6.0.1
-----

* Issue #259: Fixed regression with namespace package handling on ``single
  version, externally managed`` installs.

---
6.0
---

* Issue #100: When building a distribution, Setuptools will no longer match
  default files using platform-dependent case sensitivity, but rather will
  only match the files if their case matches exactly. As a result, on Windows
  and other case-insensitive file systems, files with names such as
  'readme.txt' or 'README.TXT' will be omitted from the distribution and a
  warning will be issued indicating that 'README.txt' was not found. Other
  filenames affected are:

    - README.rst
    - README
    - setup.cfg
    - setup.py (or the script name)
    - test/test*.py

  Any users producing distributions with filenames that match those above
  case-insensitively, but not case-sensitively, should rename those files in
  their repository for better portability.
* Pull Request #72: When using ``single_version_externally_managed``, the
  exclusion list now includes Python 3.2 ``__pycache__`` entries.

Changelog:
## JFlex 1.6.0
- Unicode 7.0 is supported.
- In %unicode mode, supplementary code points are now handled properly.
  . Regular expressions are now code-point based, rather than code-unit/
    char based.
  . Input streams are read as code point sequences - properly paired
    surrogate code units are read as a single character.
  . All supported Unicode properties now match supplementary characters
    when Unicode 3.0 or above is specified, or when no version is
    specified, causing the default Unicode version, Unicode 7.0 in this
    release, to be used.
- New \u{...} escape sequence allows code points (and whitespace-separated
  sequences of code points) to be specified as 1-6 hexadecimal digit values.
- Characters in matches printed in %debug mode are now Unicode escaped
  (\uXXXX) when they are outside the range 32..127.
- fixed bug #127, detect javadoc class comment when followed by annotation(s)
- removed the "switch" and "table" code generation options
- By default no InputStream constructor is included in the generated
  scanner. The capability to include one is deprecated and will be
  removed in JFlex 1.7.

## JFlex 1.5.1 (Mar 21, 2014)
- fixed bug #126, problem calling ./jflex start scripts
- fixed bug #125, minor documentation flaws
- further documentation and website updates
- JFlex now reports the correct version string
- added support for CUP2 with %cup2 switch, based on patch by Andreas Wenger

- JFlex now mostly conforms with Unicode Regular Expressions UTS#18
  Basic Unicode Support - Level 1. Supplementary code points (above
  the Basic Multilingual Plane) are not yet supported.
- new meta characters supported: `\s, \S, \d, \D, \w, \W`.
- nested character sets now supported, e.g. [[[ABC]D]E[FG]]
- new character set operations supported: union (e.g. [A||B]), intersection (e.g.
  [A&&B]), set-difference (e.g. [A--B]), and symmetric difference (e.g. [A~~B]).
- the meaning of the dot (".") meta character has been changed from `[^
]` to
  `[^
\r\u000B\u000C…

]`. Use the new `--legacydot` option to
  cause "." to be interpreted as `[^
]`.
- new `\R` meta character matches any newline:
  `"
" | [
\r\u000B\u000C…

]`.
- new option --noinputstreamctor to not include an InputStream
  constructor in the generated scanner.

- fixed bug #114 (noncompileable scanner generation when default locale is Turkish)
- fixed bug #113 (zzEOFDone not included with pushed nested stream state)
- fixed bug #103 (can't build examples/java/)
- fixed bug #104 (impossible char class range should trigger syntax error)

- Added a helper to "optimize" regular expressions that match one of many
  literal words; this can save 20% and more lexing time with lexers that
  highlight many keywords or builtins.

- New styles: "xcode" and "igor", similar to the default highlighting of
  the respective IDEs.

- The command-line "pygmentize" tool now tries a little harder to find the
  correct encoding for files and the terminal (#979).

- Added "inencoding" option for lexers to override "encoding" analogous
  to "outencoding" (#800).

- Added line-by-line "streaming" mode for pygmentize with the "-s" option.
  (pull request #165) Only fully works for lexers that have no constructs spanning
  lines!

- Added an "envname" option to the LaTeX formatter to select a replacement
  verbatim environment (pull request #235).

- Updated the Makefile lexer to yield a little more useful highlighting.

  for speed (pull request #205).

- Pygments will now recognize "vim" modelines when guessing the lexer for
  a file based on content (pull request #118).

JWM v2.3 Release Notes

This is a collection of major changes between JWM v2.2 and JWM v2.3.
Version 2.3.0 was released 20150618.
You can download the latest snapshot of JWM here: jwm-1356.tar.xz.

New Features

  * Added support for client requested XRaiseWindow (issue #117).
  * Added native language support for the confirm dialog.
  * Added support for _NET_RESTACK_WINDOW (issue #118).
  * Added key binding to send the current window to a different desktop (issue
    #119).
  * Support the specification of an alternate configuration file (patch from
    Brian Bidulock)
  * Added Corner option to configure the roundedness of windows.
  * Updated the look of borders around menus and trays.
  * Add support for _NET_WM_MOVERESIZE (issue #142).
  * Add the fullscreen group option (patch from George Shaw).
  * Made window style configuration more consistent (may break old
    configuration files).
  * Add scale background type.
  * Added group options: nomin, nomax, noclose, nomove, noresize (issue #152),
    and nofullscreen (issue #163).
  * Added the Outline tag to MenuStyle to specify the color of menu outlines
    (issue #31).
  * Added the Outline tag to TrayStyle to specify the color of tray outlines.
  * To conform with GNU standards, running "make install" no longer strips the
    executable. To strip the executable, "make install?strip" can be used
    instead.
  * Added the ability to swallow the same client into a tray multiple times.
  * Added the ability to specify where the tray is hidden when auto-hide is
    enabled (issue #34).
  * Menu Includes are now loaded dynamically when a menu is shown rather than
    when JWM starts.
  * Added the sendu, sendd, sendl and sendr key bindings to send a window to a
    different desktop (issue #119).
  * Added the maxh, maxv, maxtop, maxbottom, maxleft and maxright key bindings
    (issues #120 and #157).
  * Added the ability to have separate actions per mouse button for tray
    buttons (issue #171). This is accomplished using the Button tag. For
    example:
    <TrayButton label="My Button">

        exec:program_for_left_click

        exec:program_for_scroll_wheel

    </TrayButton>
    The Button tags are optional. By default the action will use mouse button
    mask 123.
  * Add the ability to have separate actions per mouse button for clock tray
    components (issue #171) and the ability to have clock tray components run
    actions like tray buttons (issue #172).
  * Add support for more than 10 menus. Now 26 additional menus can be defined
    using the letters a through z.

Configuration Changes

The following XSLT is available to update JWM v2.2 configuration files for use
with JWM v2.3: jwm-2.3.xslt.

To convert an existing v2.2 configuration file using xsltproc, run:

cp ~/.jwmrc ~/.jwmrc.old
xsltproc jwm-2.3.xslt ~/.jwmrc.old > ~/.jwmrc

If you have multiple configuration files, it may be necessary to apply the XSLT
to some or all of them depending on what configuration options are stored in
the file.

A summary of configuration changes follows.

  * The ActiveBackground and ActiveForeground tags have been replaced by
    Background and Foreground under the Active tag. This applies to TrayStyle,
    TaskListStyle, TrayButtonStyle, PagerStyle, and MenuStyle.
  * The Inactive tag under WindowStyle has been removed. The tags that used to
    go within this tag now go directly under the WindowStyle tag.
  * The autohide attribute in Tray now determines where the tray should be
    hidden (left, right, top, bottom, or off) instead of true or false.
  * Now actions in the Clock tag must be prefixed with exec: to run an external
    program.

See the configuration documentation for documentation on all configuration
options.

- Poco::format(): an argument that does not match the format
  specifier no longer results in a BadCastException. The string [ERRFMT] is
  written to the result string instead.
- PageCompiler: added createSession page attribute.

Fix CPU detection patch while here.

Changes from 2.5.2 to 2.6.0
===========================

- Introduced a new re_evaluate() function for re-evaluating the
  previous executed array expression without any check. This is meant
  for accelerating loops that are re-evaluating the same expression
  repeatedly without changing anything else than the operands. If
  unsure, use evaluate() which is safer.

- The BLOCK_SIZE1 and BLOCK_SIZE2 constants have been re-checked in
  order to find a value maximizing most of the benchmarks in bench/
  directory. The new values (8192 and 16 respectively) give somewhat
  better results (~5%) overall. The CPU used for fine tuning is a
  relatively new Haswell processor (E3-1240 v3).

- The '--name' flag for `setup.py` returning the name of the package
  is honored now (issue #215).

Changes from 2.5.1 to 2.5.2
===========================

- conj() and abs() actually added as VML-powered functions, preventing
  the same problems than log10() before (PR #212). Thanks to Tom Kooij
  for the fix!

Changes from 2.5 to 2.5.1
=========================

- Fix for log10() and conj() functions. These produced wrong results
  when numexpr was compiled with Intel's MKL (which is a popular build
  since Anaconda ships it by default) and non-contiguous data (issue
  #210). Thanks to Arne de Laat and Tom Kooij for reporting and
  providing a nice test unit.

- Fix that allows numexpr-powered apps to be profiled with pympler.
  Thanks to @nbecker.

Changes from 2.4.6 to 2.5
=========================

- Added locking for allowing the use of numexpr in multi-threaded
  callers (this does not prevent numexpr to use multiple cores
  simultaneously). (PR #199, Antoine Pitrou, PR #200, Jenn Olsen).

- Added new min() and max() functions (PR #195, CJ Carey).

Changes from 2.4.5 to 2.4.6
===========================

- Fixed some UserWarnings in Solaris (PR #189, Graham Jones).

- Better handling of MSVC defines. (#168, Francesc Alted).

Changes from 2.4.4 to 2.4.5
===========================

- Undone a 'fix' for a harmless data race. (#185 Benedikt Reinartz,
  Francesc Alted).

- Ignore NumPy warnings (overflow/underflow, divide by zero and
  others) that only show up in Python3. Masking these warnings in
  tests is fine because all the results are checked to be
  valid. (#183, Francesc Alted).

Changes from 2.4.3 to 2.4.4
===========================

- Fix bad #ifdef for including stdint on Windows (PR #186, Mike Sarahan).

Changes from 2.4.3 to 2.4.4
===========================

* Honor OMP_NUM_THREADS as a fallback in case NUMEXPR_NUM_THREADS is not
  set. Fixes #161. (PR #175, Stefan Erb).

* Added support for AppVeyor (PR #178 Andrea Bedini)

* Fix to allow numexpr to be imported after eventlet.monkey_patch(),
  as suggested in #118 (PR #180 Ben Moran).

* Fix harmless data race that triggers false positives in ThreadSanitizer.
  (PR #179, Clement Courbet).

* Fixed some string tests on Python 3 (PR #182, Antonio Valentino).

Changes from 2.4.2 to 2.4.3
===========================

* Comparisons with empty strings work correctly now. Fixes #121 and
  PyTables #184.

Changes from 2.4.1 to 2.4.2
===========================

* Improved setup.py so that pip can query the name and version without
  actually doing the installation. Thanks to Joris Borgdorff.

Changes from 2.4 to 2.4.1
=========================

* Added more configuration examples for compiling with MKL/VML
  support. Thanks to Davide Del Vento.

* Symbol MKL_VML changed into MKL_DOMAIN_VML because the former is
  deprecated in newer MKL. Thanks to Nick Papior Andersen.

* Better determination of methods in `cpuinfo` module. Thanks to Marc
  Jofre.

* Improved NumPy version determination (handy for 1.10.0). Thanks
  to Åsmund Hjulstad.

* Benchmarks run now with both Python 2 and Python 3. Thanks to Zoran
  Plesivčak.

Changes from 2.3.1 to 2.4
=========================

* A new `contains()` function has been added for detecting substrings
  in strings. Only plain strings (bytes) are supported for now. See
  PR #135 and ticket #142. Thanks to Marcin Krol.

* New version of setup.py that allows better management of NumPy
  dependency. See PR #133. Thanks to Aleks Bunin.

Changes from 2.3 to 2.3.1
=========================

* Added support for shift-left (<<) and shift-right (>>) binary operators.
  See PR #131. Thanks to fish2000!

* Removed the rpath flag for the GCC linker, because it is probably
  not necessary and it chokes to clang.

== 3.1 / 2016-05-22

* 1 documentation change:

  * Tim Smith (@tas50) updated the build badges to be SVGs to improve
    readability on high-density (retina) screens with pull request
    {#112}[mime-types/ruby-mime-types#112].

* 3 bug fixes

  * A test for MIME::Types::Cache fails under Ruby 2.3 because of frozen
    strings, {#118}[mime-types/ruby-mime-types#118].
    This has been fixed.

  * The JSON data has been incorrectly encoded since the release of mime-types
    3 on the +xrefs+ field, because of the switch to using a Set to store
    cross-reference information. This has been fixed.

  * A tentative fix for
    {#117}[mime-types/ruby-mime-types#117] has been
    applied, removing the only circular require dependencies that exist (and
    for which there was code to prevent, but the current fix is simpler).
    I have no way to verify this fix and depending on how things are loaded by
    +delayed_job+, this fix may not be sufficient.

* 1 governance change

  * Updated to {Contributor Covenant 1.4}[Code-of-Conduct_rdoc.html].

  a false value like "false" or "0".
