Kiln 0.1.0
The first release of Kiln, a USB flasher for Linux, Windows and macOS.
- Write any bootable image to a USB stick or SD card, then read it back to check every byte.
- Build Windows 11 install sticks from a Windows ISO, with optional setup tweaks: skip the TPM, Secure Boot and RAM checks, set up a local account, skip the Microsoft account, turn off BitLocker, data collection, OneDrive, Copilot and ads.
- Make Ventoy disks that boot any ISO file you copy onto them.
- Only USB drives, SD cards and removable drives are ever offered. The disks your system runs from, internal disks and the drive the image is on are always left out.
Kiln is early software. It erases whole drives, so check the drive name before you write.
