• One window only. Starting ValarisAI again (from the desktop shortcut, the Start menu or an «Open in ValarisAI» button on the site) no longer opens a second copy: the window that is already open comes to the front, even when it is minimised or hidden next to the clock.
• A calmer «answer is coming» sign. Three small purple dots bounce one after another under the text instead of a blinking block. They stay in one place while the answer grows, and they move even when Windows animations are switched off.
• The site opens in your language. The «site» button and the legal links in the chat and in the program now open valarisai.app in the language you chose in the chat (the site still opens in English for visitors who arrive from outside).
• A new install folder for new installs: C:\Program Files (x86)\ValarisAI. If ValarisAI is already installed, the update stays in its folder; to move, uninstall it and install again, your chats and settings stay in %APPDATA%\Valaris.

• An update never cuts an answer in half. «Restart and update» waits while an answer or an agent run is still going.

Small things

• Interface polish: the «answer is coming» sign is smaller and quieter, and it is drawn under the answer, not after the last letter.

• Valaris is now ValarisAI. The window, the tray, «About», the installer and the shortcuts carry the new name. The program, your chats and settings are the same, nothing is lost. The site moved to valarisai.app; the program takes updates from the new address (and from the old one if the new does not answer).
• The installer replaces the old «Valaris» shortcuts on the desktop and in the Start menu with «ValarisAI».

Before you start

• A short usage agreement on the first start (and again when its text changes): you are responsible for your requests, for the programs you allow to run and for what you create. It is kept on this device only.
• A safety rule in every chat, also in agent mode: the model does not help to break into or spy on systems, accounts or people without permission, and does not write malware.

• Safer agent. Closed a way around the list of allowed programs; the agent asks before commands that download or install something and before code given on the command line, and you see a new file's text before you allow it. Agent mode asks for your consent once again.
• Pro works at once: folders and the agent open right after you activate Pro, without a restart.
• ✕ buttons in the windows of settings, connectors, tools, voice, «Report a problem» and folder consent; a wider model window with a full-size search field.
• Fixes: the calculator tool answers complex results with a clear message; a revoked code no longer gives a new one.

The code appears on the page: copy it, download it as a file, or press «Open in the Windows app» and just press «Activate».

• Reasoning levels. The brain button next to the message box now has four levels: off, light, normal and deep. Click it to go round. Light and off save money on simple questions; deep gives the model more room to think on hard ones. In our test on a small model a hard contract question cost $0.0002 without reasoning and $0.0005 with it; models that always reason (for example Claude Sonnet) change little.
• A reasoning level per skill. Simple skills (meeting notes, posts, translator, editor, letters and others) think lightly, hard ones (contract check, business plan, maths, debugger, code review, budget) think deeply. Your own choice on the button always wins.
• «Continue» button. If an answer is cut short (length or price limit), one click under it asks the model to carry on from where it stopped.
• Agent recipes in ValarisAI Hub. «Video from pictures and a voice-over» and «Landing page with a check» — the agent builds the result, looks at it and fixes it. The agent can now use ffmpeg when it is installed.
• Hub order. New items first, then the Top 1–10, then the rest.
• A skill follows you into a new chat (remove it with the skill button).
