So this is interesting, to say the least. Effects from Baubles items seem to stay on a player after a server map reset as long as the client has not been closed.

How to reproduce:

  1. Set up a Forge server with Baubles & Botania
  2. Set up and connect with a client (same mods, obviously)
  3. Spawn in and equip an item for a Baubles slot (most obvious with the Soujourner's Sash)
  4. Disconnect, but don't close the client
  5. Close the server and delete the 'world' folder, then restart it to generate a new map
  6. Connect again with the still-open client, and you still have the speed boost and step-assist from the Sash, even though it's not in your inventory.

Note that not all effects are affected by this. With the Ring of Magnetism, for example, it only looks like items are drawn to the player, but in reality they stay put.
