GameHub 0.1.0 — complete rewrite in Rust + Tauri with a brand new interface.

GameHub is a unified game launcher for Linux. It brings Steam, Heroic (Epic / GOG) and manual Windows games into one library, with Proton management, ProtonDB ratings and SteamGridDB artwork.

• Full port from Python/GTK4 to Rust + Tauri with a new classic launcher interface
• Cover grid with ProtonDB badge, playtime and running state; slide-over detail panel and context menu
• Steam, Manual and Heroic tabs with search and uninstalled game support
• Manual game dialog: runner selection (global default, native or any installed Proton), custom arguments, WINEDLLOVERRIDES and artwork (local file, Steam ID or automatically extracted .exe icon)
• Proton manager: browse and install GE-Proton and Proton-CachyOS releases from GitHub (sha512 verified) with live download progress
• ProtonDB ratings with a 7-day cache and optional SteamGridDB covers
• Playtime tracking for every game type, synced with Steam profile playtime
• Keeps the existing ~/.config/gamehub data layout

Requirements

• Linux with a desktop environment (X11 or Wayland)
• Steam and/or Heroic installed for the corresponding libraries
• xdg-open, and icoutils for .exe icon extraction
