How to Enable MP3 Download on AVideo

This guide will help you enable the MP3 download feature on AVideo, allowing users to download MP3 versions of your self-hosted videos.

Steps to Enable MP3 Download

1. Access the CustomizeAdvanced Plugin

   • Navigate to the AVideo plugin admin panel.
   • Find and click on the "CustomizeAdvanced" plugin to access its parameters.

2. Enable Auto Convert Videos to MP3

   • In the CustomizeAdvanced plugin settings, locate the option autoConvertVideosToMP3.
   • Check this option to enable automatic conversion of self-hosted videos to MP3 format.
     • Note: This option only converts videos that are self-hosted. It does not work for embedded videos.

3. Allow Users to Download MP3s

   • Still in the CustomizeAdvanced plugin settings, find the option allowDownloadMP3.
   • Check this option to allow users to download MP3 versions of the videos.

Result

Once the MP3 download feature is enabled, you will see an MP3 button on each video. This button allows users to download the MP3 version of the video.
