• Atomic write for the config file (temp file + rename; falls back to a direct write).
• Snapshot before first change: a one-shot config.json.bak that is never overwritten.
• Self-healing reads: a corrupt config is preserved as evidence, then recovered from .bak, and only then degraded to defaults.
• loadRaw self-heals too, so a save can no longer overwrite a still-good API key with an empty config.
• 16 regression assertions in store-regression-test.mjs.
