This is the final v1.1.6 release. It includes all changes from the v1.1.6 betas, along with the changes below since v1.1.6-beta5.
New features
- Selectable audio latency. DSPi's audio latency is now adjustable, with options ranging from 0.67ms to 8ms. With USB input, settings below 2ms have no effect. The default is 4ms and the setting is saved on the device.
- Device names. Each DSPi can now be given its own name. The name is stored on the device itself, so it persists regardless of the host or DSPi Link hub to which the device is connected.
- Input source names. Each input source can now be assigned a custom name. These names are stored on the device.
- Save presets via Control Surfaces. A new Control Surfaces verb saves the current preset, either via dedicated button or from a display page.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue where, with a mix of S/PDIF and I2S outputs, pausing playback on the host could leave some outputs permanently silent.
- Resolved an issue on RP2040 where clip indicators lit at -6dBFS and level meters read 6dB high, causing playback at full volume to appear to clip. The signal generator also now plays at the selected level rather than 6dB below it.
- Resolved an issue where a bypassed PEQ band remained bypassed after a factory reset, after loading or deleting an empty preset, or when booting without a saved preset. Bands now return to their default, active state.
- Resolved an issue where a brief interruption in host audio could cause the outputs to replay a short fragment of stale audio. The outputs now remain silent until audio resumes.
- The underrun counter now registers each host interruption once. Previously, a single interruption could be counted hundreds of times.
