Release Notes

Added

  • weaver project add | up | down | status | remove: add a project to a developer machine in one
step (fetch over the mesh or git, register, detect how it runs, install its /<slug> route,
list required environment variables by name), start and stop it with process-compose, and
undo exactly what was added. The dashboard's "Add locally" uses the same path.
    docs/guides/developer-quickstart.md.
  • Chief of staff on a real model: scripts/build.sh cos-up starts the agent with a local model
(llm lab) and stops it on exit, with a cloud fallback chain; tools for the board, the current
card and mesh routes; notes to project history and a per-installation RVF brain; local
speech-to-text and spoken replies with barge-in. The conversation API is frozen as cos.v1
(docs/plans/adr-118-cos-contract.md), with per-endpoint replies and an optional tailnet bind
with per-endpoint tokens (weftos-cos endpoint add).
  • Display sessions over the certified-leaf channel (ADR-117): display.* RPCs, weaver leaf status, cos-console-host --leaf, the edge-pad firmware renders sessions; hardware-in-the-loop
    script scripts/edgepad-console-hil.sh.
  • Mesh resources and exposures (ADR-120 X1-X2): library and toolchain facts (CUDA, ROCm, Core ML,
MLX, PyTorch, ONNX Runtime) and live free VRAM; one exposure registry with
weaver expose list | on | off | pause | log and a [mesh.expose] master switch; unannounced
exposures are refused; a hash-chained activity log; exposures and resources in the heartbeat.
  • weftos team apply | status | uninstall (ADR-112 TM2): project-scoped apply with a lock,
collision refusal, a birth report and symmetric uninstall; agent.install uses the same path.
  • MCP: stateless 2026-07-28 requests and server/discover next to the 2025-06-18 handshake.

Fixed

  • HNSW memory search: queries no longer serialize on the store and model locks (10K: 18-thread
throughput 321 -> about 114,000 queries/s), graph builds are about 10x faster, and deletes or
upserts between rebuilds can no longer return the wrong entry.
  • A flaky mesh-fetch test, clawft-voice-onnx clippy under --features onnx (now in the gate),
and scripts/build.sh --help executing text in its usage message.
  • Long model streams no longer stall in the retry buffer (more than 256 chunks).
