  • Windows 10/11: wellide-0.2.0-setup.exe (or the portable zip). sing-box and wintun included.
  • Debian 12+ / Ubuntu 23.04+ / Mint 22+: sudo apt install ./wellide_0.2.0_amd64.deb. sing-box included.

What's new

  • New connect button: arms orbit the core, colours flow between off and on, and each theme has its own button style and switch effect.
  • Themes: Void (default), Notebook, Amethyst (new cut-gem button), Graphite, plus your own themes via ~/.config/wellide/themes/*.ini.
  • Less memory: the UI no longer loads any images through gdk-pixbuf, so no sandboxed glycin helper processes (~67 MB RSS instead of ~92 MB).
  • Low idle CPU; the optional economy mode caps the idle animation at 20 fps (off by default).
  • TUN: a one-time permission grant from Settings, no root at runtime; DNS works without password prompts.
  • The tray icon follows the connection state and the theme.
  • Wellide now refuses to run under sudo (settings would end up in /root).
  • License changed to GPL-3.0-or-later.

Русский: новая кнопка и темы (включая «Аметист»), меньше памяти, TUN без root, пакет .deb и установщик для Windows. Лицензия теперь GPL-3.0-or-later.
