New in 1.4.34
- The Keybinds list fills its tab — the tab had been made the right height, but the list inside it still stopped after six rows and left the bottom third of the page empty. It now takes whatever room the page has and scrolls inside it
- The eyedropper is a crosshair again — the magnifier and its ring are gone. The full-screen picking window carries the stock crosshair, and the swatch at the panel edge still shows the color under the pointer
- Country flags on the world clock — every city leads with a round flag in both the clock and the Add picker, followed by the city and its UTC offset, with the clock reading on the right. A zone with no single country (UTC) keeps an empty circle

New in 1.4.33
- The eyedropper magnifies what is under the pointer — the previous cursor only marked the spot. Now the panel sends back the 15 × 15 screen pixels around the pointer, each drawn ten times, as a 150px loupe beside the arrow: the square in the middle is exactly the pixel that will be picked, and the color and its hex sit along the bottom. Escape gives the screen back and the loupe goes with it
- One combination, one owner — the same key on two rows used to open two tools in whatever order the map happened to be walked, and a tool sharing the hold key never opened at all. Binding a key that is already taken now hands it over: the previous row lets go and the panel says so
- The Keybinds tab is the height of the Widgets tab — it measured its own content, so it came up shorter than the tab beside it. The Widgets page is measured once and Keybinds is held to that same box

New in 1.4.32
- Settings now takes the height of the tab you are on — every frame measured the panel while the previous frame's height cap was still on it, so it could only ever get shorter. Come back to the app on Keybinds, open Settings and switch to General, and the taller page was squeezed into the Keybinds box. The cap is cleared before measuring now, so the panel grows and shrinks with the active tab
- A tall page gets the whole screen — a page taller than the space left was pulled up by only half of what overflowed, which left the content area cut down on a small screen or with scaling turned up. It is pulled up by exactly what overflows, and never past the top margin
- Keybinds has one more row — the list shows six tools instead of five before it scrolls
- Reset all on the Keybinds tab — a small button in the header clears the hold key and every tool binding in one go. A capture that was still waiting for a key is dropped too, so the next keystroke does not write a binding back
- The eyedropper has a magnifier cursor — the crosshair is replaced by a small hollow ring with a dot in the middle, positioned so the dot marks exactly the pixel that will be picked. The center is no longer covered by the pointer
- A clearer danger icon — Tap again to erase everything now uses the circle alert icon instead of the octagon

New in 1.4.31
- A key on its own can open the panel — the Keybinds capture treated Ctrl, Shift, Alt and Win as "still choosing" and threw them away, so only a combination could be bound and the tray's Hold key to open was the only way to get Ctrl on its own. A lone modifier now binds when it is released, and Ctrl + Q still binds as a pair
- Hold key to open is gone from the tray — it offered four fixed choices and could not express a combination, so
Ctrl + Shift + Spaceshowed up there asCtrl. Opening on a key is the panel's own setting (Settings → Keybinds) and is not duplicated in the tray - Reset to default is in the tray — it opens Settings on the General tab and arms the button there, so it still takes a second tap rather than wiping the dock and the themes from one stray menu click
- The Settings panel changes height with its tabs — every page carried a floor set by the shortest one, which is why a tall page and a short page sat in the same box. Each page now takes its own height. Switching tabs no longer walks the panel up the screen either: the frame loop was re-deriving the top from a spring that had not settled
- The eyedropper shows a crosshair — the full-screen window that takes the picking click had no cursor of its own, and Windows reads a class with none as the app-start cursor, which is the hourglass. It carries the crosshair of a screen ruler now
- The Network tool's open-domain button is gone — the Domain row is still there and still copies like every other row
- One spelling for color — the British spelling is gone from the panel, the README and these notes

New in 1.4.30
- Recent colours are the colours again — they are stored without their
#, which is what the colour tool works in, and that was put straight into a CSS background. The rule was silently dropped and every swatch came out white or black. The hash is put back when it is drawn - Picking a colour does not click through — two faults. The window that takes the picking click is registered under a fixed class name, and registering an existing class is refused; that was treated as a reason to give up, so after the first pick there was nothing in the way at all. And a layered window at zero alpha is not reliably hit-tested, so clicks went through it as if it were not there. It now registers once and reuses the class, and sits at 1/255 — still invisible, and it holds the click
- ASN and Domain in the Network tool — the network the address belongs to, and the domain it is reached at, with a button beside the domain that opens it
- The Settings panel fits its content — every page was pinned to the height of the tallest one, so Theme sat in a tall box with most of it empty. Each page now takes its own height, over a floor set by the shortest, and scrolls when there is more than the screen has room for
- The timer cannot be edited while it runs — the scroll, the arrow keys, the digits and the presets are all refused mid-countdown, the cursor stops offering itself, and the display says to pause it first

New in 1.4.29
- The eyedropper reads the colour that is really there — it was reading the pixel through
GetPixel, whoseCOLORREFdid not come back in the documented order from the desktop's own device context, so red and blue came out swapped: a#069021green was picked as#219006. The pixel is now read throughGetDIBits, whose 32bpp layout is documented and does not vary - Picking a colour no longer presses what is under the pointer — while the grab is up, a transparent window the size of every screen sits in front of the desktop and takes the click. It draws nothing, so the colour being sampled is still the colour on screen, and it never takes focus. It is deliberately not a low-level mouse hook: a hook runs on every mouse event in the system and made the pointer feel wrong, which is why it was dropped last time
- Memory is back — it had gone from
16 GB (15.8 GB usable)to a dash. The shared conversion was dividing kilobytes by 1024 three times, which is terabytes, so both figures rounded to zero. It takes bytes now, and the kilobyte one is converted first - The settings panel fits the screen and scrolls — the pages were all forced to the height of the tallest one, which on a short screen is taller than the panel can ever be, so the Keybinds list had nowhere to scroll. The height is now capped to the room the panel has, and whatever does not fit scrolls inside the page
- The eyedropper swatch has nothing painted over it — the highlight ring that sat on top of the colour is gone

New in 1.4.28
- The panel stops going dead — with the invisible part of the strip let clicks through, a stale measurement could leave the window refusing every click while still on screen, and quitting the app was the only way out. Input is now given back whenever the panel opens, and given back again on its own if the pointer sits outside for five seconds
- The Network tool shows its values — the rows were reading the second character of each value, so an address came out as
2and a country ase. All nine rows fit without a scrollbar now, and the cross on an added time zone is centred - Memory reads to one decimal —
16 GB (15 GB usable)becomes16 GB (15.8 GB usable), the same figure the Performance meters already gave - The eyedropper's swatch stays put — instead of chasing the pointer it sits in one of two fixed spots by the panel edge and steps aside when the pointer comes near. It is bigger, rounder, and the hex sits on a chip beside it
- The calculator never slides its value — the
translateXthat kept the last digits in view was being measured into the panel's click boundary, which is what left the strip swallowing clicks. The value now shrinks to a floor of 16px and, if it still cannot fit, the box shows its end - The calendar keeps its boxes on screen — a six-week month used to push the date fields off the bottom of the panel. The days are now the only part that gives way; the two date cards and the year/month/day boxes stay where they are
- The documentation is in order — the release notes hold only this release, the full history moved to
docs/CHANGELOG.md, the README was brought up to date, andAGENTS.mddescribes the project for coding agents

New in 1.4.27
- Hold to open needs the whole combination —
Ctrl + Shift + Spaceopened on Ctrl alone, because only the first key of the combination was kept. All of it has to be down now, and "no key" still means no key - The eyedropper leaves your mouse alone — it was hanging a low-level mouse hook off its thread to keep the picking click from reaching the program underneath, and that changed how the pointer felt the whole time the grab was up. It is gone. The colour and the click are still right; the click simply reaches what is under the pointer again, which is the trade for a mouse that behaves normally
- The calendar names the right month and the right day — it was titled from the Jalali month's first day, so 18 October said "September 2026"; and each column was worked out from the day of the month rather than the weekday, which put every day under the wrong name.
2026-10-18now reads "October 2026" and lands under ی - The month heading also says the other calendar — "October 2026" with "Mehr 1405" under it, and the reverse in the Jalali grid
- The Iranian grid is drawn right to left — شنبه is on the right, where the Iranian week starts
- Reset to default says what it will do next, and says it again after — the second tap left it reading "tap again" over an already-reset panel. It now wears an octagon-alert while it waits and the teardrop wheel afterwards. Reset to default also puts Asia/Tehran back in the clock
- Settings tabs no longer resize the panel — every one is given the height of the tallest, measured page by page rather than guessed, so moving between them leaves the panel still
- Memory shows the usable figure again — the number was read out of the wrong field, so
16 GB (15.8 GB usable)had lost the second half - The calculator keeps what you typed — opening it no longer wipes the display; CE and C are what clear it. And a number too long for the box used to shrink and slide itself out of sight: it is left alone until it can be measured, so it never disappears
- Holding Ctrl copies without commas and says so
- More stays open — a click that opened it left the dock still moving under the pointer, and the tool it passed over asked for its own panel. It opens for a moment and shut again, needing a second click; the pointer is left alone until the dock settles
- The output boxes behave alike — Num Convert and the Generate tool both take the pointer and lift on hover, both copy themselves, and the hint telling you to click an output is gone. Num Convert's Clear moved up to its header beside the Clipboard tool's
- The Network tool — the address banner is gone, the country's flag sits beside its name where it belongs, ISP and Org are rows of their own rather than one line joined by a dot, the loading bars stand in for the values only (the labels are already right), all nine rows fit without scrolling, Copy all is the one on the right, and the tool is asked once — after that only Refresh goes out
- The swatch cannot leave the screen — it is measured where it actually landed and pulled back inside, rather than trusting arithmetic about a label that has not been laid out yet
- System info wears the plain monitor again
New in 1.4.26
- Reset to default works — it erased everything and then reloaded the page, but the page is only handed its settings once, when the window is built. So the reload brought the old settings back, wrote them over the new ones, and left the panel shut against the screen edge. It now repaints in place
- The eyedropper picks the colour you clicked — two faults: the pixel is read from a
COLORREF, which stores blue first, so red and blue came back swapped; and the click was looked for by polling, which could miss the press between two ticks. It now reads the channels right and takes the click from the hook that saw it. Right-click is left alone so menus still open and close - Memory reads gigabytes — it said
16384 GB, because kilobytes were divided once instead of twice. It now says16 GB (15.8 GB usable) - Only the panel takes clicks — the window is a fixed strip, wider than the dock and taller than the panel, and the invisible rest of it swallowed every click beside the panel. The panel now reports the shape that is actually drawn on, and the rest of the strip lets clicks through
- The calculator keeps its last digits — a long value was cut off at the right, which is the end that matters. It now shrinks to fit, and slides along if it still cannot
- Ctrl copies the number plain — a click on the result copies it with its thousands separators, which is what you see; hold Ctrl and it copies the digits on their own. No label, it is simply what Ctrl does
- Snippets insert the placeholder where your caret is — it used to replace the whole line. Now it goes in where you are, and only the spaces around it are decided:
date:becomesdate: {{date}},date:does not pick up a second gap, and text you have already written stays - The date converter works in Jalali — the check that told a Jalali year from a Gregorian one had the inequality the wrong way round, so every year it was asked about was thrown away. Typing
1403 05 12now gives2024-08-02 - The QR buttons copy instead of saving files — PNG · JPG · SVG each with a copy mark. The two image ones put the picture on the clipboard and SVG puts the markup there, which is what a vector editor wants. Windows has no JPEG flavour of clipboard image, so JPG hands over the same picture PNG does
- More opens on the first click — a press that landed while the dock was still springing used to be lost with the click. What was pressed is now remembered by name, so it survives the dock re-rendering itself mid-press
- The Network tool — the country is a name again (
Germany, notGermany · DE); Copy all moved to the bottom beside a new Refresh, and Copy all is white; the rows are close enough together to fit on screen; and while the two lookups are out you get a skeleton of eight rows instead of a line of words - System info — same tighter rows, same single-line values, and a
monitor-cograther than a plain monitor - The keybind list is quieter — no hints, rows are not grab cursors, a long combination is cut at ten characters (
Shift + Ct…) and said in full on hover, and the eyedropper has a key of its own under Color - Hold to open works with Space — it was written as a bare space, which was trimmed away to nothing, so the panel read it as "no key needed" and opened on its own
- Num Convert — no "Click to copy" tooltip, the default cursor, and the outputs sit on the same background as the Generate tool
- The zone picker is taller — ten rows on screen at once instead of nine
- The month heading has no tooltip on it
New in 1.4.25
- Keybinds are now real bindings — the tab used to be a list to read; now every tool has a key of your choosing. Click the chip, press the combination, and it is yours. Press Esc to clear one. Hold to open moved here out of General: no more fixed Ctrl/Shift/Space dropdown, you press the key you want at the screen edge
- New tool: Network — your public address from ipify, the place it says it is from ipwho.is, and the country's circle flag. Sits just before System info and the meters; click any line to copy it
{{ip}}actually works — it was written but never asked for. It is fetched once at start-up, so a snippet copied later does not have to wait- Picking a colour from the screen no longer presses what is under the pointer — while the grab is up, clicks are held back from every other program, so the click that picks the colour cannot also hit a button behind it
- The colour swatch stays where it can be read — it used to sit exactly under the pointer, pinned to the right-hand edge where its hex label ran off the side of the screen. It now keeps its distance from the pointer and the label turns around to whichever side has room
- The QR code is square and smaller, and you can keep it — the preview lost its white border, and PNG · JPG · SVG in one row writes the file. The line under it is the real resolution and file size, e.g.
232×232 · 210 KB - The calculator groups thousands —
1234567reads as1,234,567. A long result keeps its last digits: the display clips from the left, with flexbox and no mirrored text, so the minus sign stays a minus sign - Num Convert copies from the output — the three Copy buttons are gone; click the number itself. The hex you copy no longer carries a leading
# - The calendar keeps up with the grid —...

The hex you copy no longer carries a leading
# - The calendar keeps up with the grid — click a day and the three boxes follow it, in whichever calendar you are looking at. Switch calendar keeps the date instead of jumping back to today, and its tooltip is the panel's own, not the browser's
- Memory reads the way Windows reads it —
16 GB (15.8 GB usable)instead of a bare number, and the meters count of what is free too, to one decimal:11.3 of 15.8 GB. System type is a row of its own now, e.g.64-bit operating system, x64-based processor - System info rows stay on one line — a long processor or graphics name gets an ellipsis instead of wrapping the row in half. Desktop got a different icon from System info (an eye, not a monitor)
- The zone picker offers the whole list — it was cut off at five rows with the rest simply not there. All of them now, in a box about five rows tall that scrolls
- The More button works while the dock is still opening — a click that landed mid-animation used to be thrown away
- No focus rings, no browser tooltips — both were asked for. Focus still moves, it just is not drawn
- Placeholder buttons space themselves — into an empty box it pastes
{{date}}, afterdate:it pastes{{date}}, and afterdate:just{{date}} - Quieter — the "moved to dock" toast is gone, and the read-fresh hint under System info with it
New in 1.4.24
- The update check no longer flashes a console — asking GitHub for the newest version started
curlthe way a windowed app does, which pops a black cmd window on Windows. It now runs with the window suppressed - Dropdown lists are whole again — the date formats and the other Settings pickers were being cut off part-way down the list, because they were drawn inside the page that scrolls. They now float above everything, flip up when there is no room below, and are capped to the space on screen. Every format in the list is reachable
- The QR code draws again — two attempts to hand the whole thing over in one piece arrived short and drew a blank. The matrix is now handed over in pieces with its length announced first, and the panel draws only when it holds every character
- New tool: System info — the operating system, processor, graphics, memory, computer name and uptime, read fresh each time you open it. Click any line to copy it, or Copy all for the lot
- New Keybinds tab — every shortcut the panel actually has, in one place
- The eye dropper shows what you are pointing at — while pick from screen is waiting for a click, a swatch of the colour under the pointer rides the panel edge with its hex code
- The calendar boxes start on today — and the wheel or the arrow keys step them, wrapping at the ends, the same way the timer does. Switching between the two calendars refills them with today instead of blanking them

Switching between the two calendars refills them with today instead of blanking them
- The Add time zone page is shorter — five suggestions instead of ten-plus, and the zones you already added sit two to a row
- The snippet list scrolls again — with the placeholder list open it could not be scrolled at all
{{ip}}— your public address, asked for once when you use it. It sits just before{{clipboard}}; offline it keeps its name rather than copying something wrong- Num Convert — the three outputs are full width under their own foldable headers, and the Arabic one starts folded away
New in 1.4.23
- Reset to default no longer corrupts your settings — 1.4.22 reloaded the panel the instant it asked to save, which could beat the write and leave a half-written
settings.jsonbehind. Deleting%APPDATA%\RightPanelfixed it; it should never have needed that. The panel now waits for the native side to confirm the file is on disk, then reloads - The panel opens on the edge again after a reset — the reloaded page starts closed, but the native side still thought it was open and so ignored the hover. The page now says hello on every load and the two agree
- Only the Jalali numbers are Persian in the calendar — in the Gregorian month the big day numbers are English and the Jalali day underneath is Farsi; in the Jalali month it is the other way round
- Dropdown lists measure the box that clips them — on a short panel a list could be cut off part-way instead of simply opening downward
New in 1.4.22
- The dropdowns stay inside the panel — a Settings list near the foot of the panel used to open straight out through the bottom edge, because it measured the room against the screen rather than the panel. Each list now flips up or caps its height to the room it actually has
- The time zone picker got shorter — the zones you already added are just the city name and a ✕, so a list of ten no longer fills the Add page. The clocks themselves are still on the World clock page, one click back
- Reset to default — the last button in Settings → General puts everything back: your dock and More layout, custom themes, snippets, time zones and preferences. It takes two taps, because it throws all of that away, and it is not a native dialog (those are a second window on Linux)
New in 1.4.21
- One "Settings" again — the tool that hands over to Windows is back to being called Win settings, so the list no longer has two entries with the same name and only one of them opens this panel
- The snippet placeholders are in reading order —
date,jalali_date,time,time_12h,weekday,weekday_fa,month,month_fa,jalali_month,jalali_month_fa,year,jalali_year, andclipboardlast. Each English one is followed by its Persian twin
New in 1.4.20
- The settings folds actually close — 1.4.19 could look shut but wasn't: closing Panel or System turned the rows invisible and left the space they took up behind, so the page kept a gap where the settings used to be. Both folds now close the way the search engine groups do
- The General page is a page again — the same change had wrapped the System section, the version line and the Quit button inside the Panel section's box, which is why the rows sat oddly and the spacing came out wrong. Everything is back at page level
New in 1.4.19
- Sections fold shut — the snippet placeholders and the two Settings groups (Panel, System) now close like the search engine groups do, and each one remembers whether you left it open or shut
- The world clock got a proper Add page — Add opens the picker as its own full panel with the search box in it, and the clock list behind it is just the clock: no search, no ✕. The ✕ Close button works here now, so the picker is where your cities are added and removed
- The QR preview is the same picture you copy — it used to be redrawn in the panel from the module matrix, and that matrix never arrived intact, so the preview was blank while the clipboard was fine. The preview is now the exact bitmap that lands on y...
