What is in it

The fight

  • Seven ready builds and six races, with your Imp or Succubus. Cast bar, global cooldown, DoTs, procs, execute phase, mana and Life Tap, your own health, threat.
  • One, two or three training dummies with target switching, Bane of Havoc, Rain of Fire and Hellfire.
  • Four ways a fight ends: when the dummies are dead, after a set time, or on dummies with infinite health - at full health, or in execute range the whole time.
  • Movement phases, hits taken, latency, precasting and a pull timer.

Measured against the DPS sim

  • The same spell values, talents and rules as Xn's Forever Warlock Sim. The damage meter shows what the sim reaches in the same fight and races you against it, and against your own best run.
  • A review after every fight: damage over time, what your mistakes cost in DPS, a timeline of your casts beside the sim's, mana and Life Taps, how long each DoT was up, DoTs cast over too early, and your last results in the same fight.
  • Import your own build, gear and buffs from the DPS sim: its build and settings codes, or its share link. The codes of the in-game addon Xn's Warlock Sim work too.

Practice

  • Challenges graded against the sim: seven drills, five scripted encounters (fire, barrages, target calls, adds that join mid-fight) and a seeded fight. Good grades earn robes in other colours.
  • Aids you can switch on: the sim's priority list, its next cast and why, an opener trainer, DoT timers, mistake callouts.

The rest

  • Every key can be changed, also with Shift, Ctrl or Alt and mouse buttons; the action bar can be rearranged.
  • A link shares your setup; a finished fight can be copied or saved as a picture.
  • Interface size, colour-blind colours, sounds (off until you switch them on).
