Highlights

  • First-launch setup guide: a one-time dialog walks new users through downloading the Windows server, running it (no install needed, SmartScreen note included) and connecting over the same Wi-Fi. The help icon on the Servers screen reopens it anytime.
  • Buy Me a Coffee: new sponsor button under Settings -> Support, next to Patreon.
  • App version is now shown at the bottom of Settings (long-press to copy it into bug reports).
  • The setup guide is translated into 13 additional languages (14 locales total).

Fixes

  • Saved servers and settings now survive upgrading from 1.6.1 — one-time migration of the legacy settings file (introduced by the DataStore singleton change after the 1.6.1 release).

Internal

  • New instrumented UI tests cover the setup dialog, help icon and version label; unit suite grew to 139 tests.
