OptiTime checks for several known mod interactions at startup. When an interaction affects one of its optimizations, OptiTime reports it and disables the affected feature. Other independent features can remain enabled.
| Mod | What OptiTime does |
|---|---|
| Ancestral Bliss Shaders or Volumetric Shading Refreshed | Disables OptiTime shader assets so the other shader pack can take over. |
| CoriaenderShaders | Disables OptiTime's liquid and shadow shader replacements. Other shader features remain independent. |
| Combat Overhaul or Overhaullib | Disables OptiTime's entity animation optimization. |
| Electrical Progressive (Industry) | Disables OptiTime's handbook optimization. |
| Brutal Story or XBlood | Disables particle view-distance scaling to preserve blood effects. |
| Real Smoke or Firearms | Skips particle rejection for the affected off-thread particle pools. |
When an option is unavailable, check .optitime status and the game log for the reason. An affected option does not necessarily disable unrelated options.
- Run
.optitime statusin game and check the message for that option. - Check
client-main.logfor an[OptiTime]compatibility message. - If another mod is listed, review its settings or temporarily disable it to confirm the interaction.
- Report unexpected behavior with the Vintage Story and OptiTime versions, the relevant log excerpt, your mod list, and steps to reproduce.
