Querybird 0.2.0: a free, open-source database client for PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite.

Download: Querybird_0.2.0_universal.dmg runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs (macOS 11 or later).

What's new

  • New layout: connections, Ask AI and tools in the sidebar; Ask AI and row details in a right side panel (⌘J toggles it).
  • Six themes (Ember, Light, Monokai, Catppuccin Latte, Solarized Light, Vellum) plus "Match system".
  • Ask AI answers schema questions in plain prose and writes SQL for data questions. Turn on Read rows to have it draw a conclusion from the result rows (off by default; rows stay on your Mac otherwise).
  • Phosphor icons, Geist fonts, new app icon.

First open (this build isn't notarized by Apple)

  1. Open the DMG and drag Querybird into Applications.
  2. Try to open it once. macOS will block it.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Querybird message, and click Open Anyway.

Or, in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Querybird.app

Because this build isn't signed with a stable developer identity, macOS may ask for your Keychain password again when you connect to a saved database.
