Ramulus 0.7.0

@a-ahandani a-ahandani released this 03 Nov 19:37

The first desktop release: Ramulus in its own window, with the native helper from this version's npx ramulus and the same UI.

  • Download for Apple Silicon Macs: Ramulus_0.7.0_aarch64.dmg, signed with a Developer ID. It is not notarized yet, so the first open shows "Apple could not verify"; close that, then open System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway next to Ramulus.
  • Open any repository from the sidebar; the graph, diffs, staging, pull requests and the agent terminal work as in the browser version.
  • The terminal is built for Claude Code: Shift+Enter or Option+Enter adds a line to the prompt, pasting an image hands it to Claude Code, and rendering runs on the GPU.
  • The app checks this page for newer versions after launch and every four hours, downloads them in the background and offers a restart. Updates are signed.
  • Intel Macs, Windows and Linux builds follow from the release workflow.

Also on npm: npx ramulus@0.7.0 now runs a native helper on macOS, Windows and Linux (x64 and arm64), using a tenth of the memory of the Node helper it replaces, with the Node helper as the fallback.
