A small offline 2D tactics game built with C++17 and raylib 5.5. Move a knight around an 8×8 arena, fight two distinct enemies, use Guard and inspect a read-only forecast before ending your turn.
Download Turnforge-Windows.zip, extract the entire folder and launch turnforge.exe. Keep the bundled assets beside the executable. No account, API key or compiler is required; Windows and an OpenGL 3.3-capable driver are needed.
Turnforge-Demo.mp4 is a silent, 66-second scripted replay of a complete match. It uses the normal input controller and is rendered offline at 720p/30 FPS. It demonstrates implemented rules, rather than human playtesting or live performance.
Validation: 24 gameplay scenarios / 352 checks, a separate 500-session seeded stress suite, input/render verification, recording checks and an extracted Windows-package smoke check. Source history, staged publication changes and release-package text were scanned for credentials before publication.
Current scope: one fixed map, one knight and two melee enemies; no audio, saves or networking. Live hidden-window runs varied around 39–58 FPS, so the 60 FPS target is not consistently met. Human playtesting and visible-window benchmarking remain pending.
Implementation, UI, verification tooling and character artwork used AI assistance. See the repository for detailed checks, attribution and remaining limitations.
