First release.

Scanr is a menu bar app for the Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 over USB. Press the scan button on the device and a searchable PDF lands on your Desktop. No vendor driver, no network code, no cloud.

  • Duplex, blank page removal, straightening and cropping to the paper size
  • Text recognition with an invisible text layer in PDFs
  • Profiles „Rechnungen“ (black and white, about 25 to 50 KB per A4 page), „Auto“ and „Foto“, plus your own
  • User interface in German

Requires macOS 26 or later and a ScanSnap iX500 connected by USB. Quit ScanSnap Home before using Scanr.

The DMG is signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
