Releases: aXistem-dev/axism

v0.2.3

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Nov 18:03

A layout tuned from small windows to full-screen 4K, every session tag in view, and the same behaviour whether aXism is installed with pipx or uv.

Changed

  • From 280 columns (a full-screen window on a 4K display) the details pane takes half the width: projects 20%, sessions 30%, details 50%; narrower windows keep 20% / 40% / 40%
  • The details pane hides below 110 columns (was 70) and projects and sessions split one third / two thirds; Enter on a session then opens the reader directly
  • The Tags column grows to fit the longest tags in the list and uses short forms (int, bg, rc, sub:N, live only when no state is shown), so every tag of a session is visible; the filter still matches the full words
  • Project names keep the whole folder name when …/ does not fit, and the home folder shows as ~
  • Sizes in the lists use a compact form (7.8MB, 71MB, 358KB) that always fits its column
  • scripts/install.sh installs with pipx first, then uv, then pip, and points out an older axism left behind by uv that could shadow the new one; the README lists pipx first

Fixed

  • On Python 3.14 (the version uv tool install picks by default) an unreadable Hermes or OpenCode folder looked empty or missing; it is now skipped with the folder unreadable note as on 3.12 and 3.13, and axism providers reports it as unreadable
  • CI runs the tests on Python 3.12, 3.13 and 3.14

v0.2.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Nov 06:07

Unreadable folders handled safely everywhere, no new features.

Fixed

  • One unreadable project folder (Claude Code, Cursor) is skipped on its own with a note naming it, instead of hiding the whole agent; a Cursor workspace whose agent transcripts or CLI chats cannot be read is skipped whole. Moves and delete-project refuse an unreadable project, and moves refuse an unreadable destination, so neither is ever moved, removed or written into
  • An unreadable OpenCode data folder gets the same OpenCode: folder unreadable — skipped note as the other agents, and an unreadable opencode.db reads database unreadable in axism providers instead of an unsupported layout
  • resume, move, delete and other commands that hit an unreadable folder print axism: … and exit 1 instead of a traceback
  • list exits 0 when there is nothing to list (also with --provider); it exits 1 only when no requested agent could be read
  • The delete dialog's Total counts the stored size of database-backed sessions (OpenCode, Hermes) instead of 0B
  • A move that fails on a folder it cannot read shows an error message in the app instead of closing it

v0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 28 Oct 21:21

Polish and fixes, no new features.

Fixed

  • Unreadable folders no longer crash anything: an unreadable Claude Code, Cursor or Hermes folder is skipped with a note, an unreadable OpenCode data folder reports data folder unreadable, and Settings lists unreadable folders on save instead of closing the app
  • A settings.json with a malformed providers entry counts as unreadable and is left untouched ("fix or remove it, then restart aXism")
  • Enabling an agent (Settings or providers --enable) never moves the CLI default; only * / --default does
  • OpenCode: sub-agents fold recursively into size and count; a refused move or failed delete reports once; a failed copy names its leftover as imported_session_id (not listed); imports refuse a relative folder
  • Delete previews for OpenCode and Hermes show the stored size instead of Bytes: 0
  • Hermes prompts that look like JSON are shown as typed
  • Rename messages use plain quotes; resume --print-only output pastes correctly with spaces in paths
  • r retries session details that failed to load

Changed

  • Settings opens at once and checks agents in the background (found · N sessions, folder missing, folder unreadable, no sessions · command not on PATH), notes --provider / --config-dir overrides, stores typed folders as absolute paths, and asks about a missing folder in a warning dialog
  • Project details use the facts style; turns read 4 messages (2 prompts); the storage line is per session
  • The reader loads in the background and Esc works meanwhile; Hermes structured message parts show their text
  • The footer follows the theme; reader and help show their scroll keys; quit (y Quit · n Stay) and delete (y Delete forever) state their keys once; help merges shared dialog keys

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 28 Oct 11:01

OpenCode 2 joins Claude Code, Cursor and Hermes as a fourth agent, aXism switches on the agents it finds installed instead of all of them, and the keyboard, footer, help, details pane and Settings are reworked.

Added

  • OpenCode 2 provider (--provider opencode): sessions from opencode.db in the OpenCode data folder ($XDG_DATA_HOME/opencode, default ~/.local/share/opencode), grouped by project, with title, first prompt, size, last update, running state and an archived badge; sub-agent sessions are counted with their parent
  • Open, rename and delete OpenCode sessions and projects; every change goes through OpenCode's own server (the background service when it runs, otherwise a private server for that command), and listing never starts anything
  • Stop an OpenCode session: interrupts it and closes any OpenCode window that has it open; a running or open sub-agent session makes its parent count as running, and stopping it interrupts the whole family
  • Move OpenCode sessions and projects to another folder while OpenCode's background service runs on the default data folder; without it, or with a custom data folder, the move is refused before anything is stopped
  • Copy sessions from OpenCode to Claude Code, Cursor and Hermes, and into OpenCode through opencode session import (the copy gets a new session id), text turns only, title kept
  • A custom OpenCode data folder in Settings or with --config-dir; it must be named opencode for changes to work, and the command that opens one of its sessions (axism resume --print-only) sets XDG_DATA_HOME to its parent folder
  • axism providers shows whether the OpenCode database was found and supported and whether its background service is running; an unsupported (non-OpenCode 2) layout is reported in one line
  • Vim keys (j/k, h/l, g/G, Ctrl+D/Ctrl+U) next to the arrows, PgUp/PgDn, Home/End, and Del for delete; capital letters do the same as lowercase, except G (last row) and T (next theme)
  • Ctrl+P opens a command palette that runs any action by name
  • Enter goes into the highlighted item (projects, sessions, details) and opens a full-screen reader with the whole conversation (text turns only) from the details pane; Esc goes back
  • The details pane shows a session's facts first, then its last prompt and last reply
  • A footer that follows the focused pane, dims keys that do not apply there, and says why when you press one
  • A help screen (?) generated from the same key list the app uses, so it always matches what the keys do
  • Settings: Space switches an agent on or off, * makes it the CLI default, Enter saves; each agent shows its status (sessions found, folder missing, command not installed) and saving warns about a folder that does not exist
  • axism providers --default, --enable and --disable change the agents and the CLI default, and the list marks the default with * and a legend line

Changed

  • ? opens the help (h moves to the pane on the left); q asks before dropping marks
  • m (was k) keeps a project's memory/ folder in the delete dialog
  • Dialogs fit small terminals and scroll when their text is longer than the window
  • axism tui --provider and --config-dir apply to that run only
  • Agents without a saved choice are detected once (data folder with content, or the command on PATH) and switched on or off accordingly, instead of all being switched on; saved choices are never changed, and Claude Code is shown if no agent ends up switched on. The note names the agents found and the ones not detected (in the app as a message, on stderr for other commands); a settings.json that cannot be read is never overwritten, and the detected choices then apply to that run only
  • GitHub releases use this changelog's section for the version as their release notes

Fixed

  • Session titles, folders, paths and messages containing square brackets display as written and cannot break the app
