Zotero plugin (Zotero 8–9)

• Mark as definition in the reader's text selection popup. Choose the term, aliases, kind
  (definition, theorem, lemma, …), an optional label such as "Def 2.3", and whether it applies to
  this document or all of them.
• Definitions are also saved as Zotero highlights tagged defn:<kind>.
• Every other occurrence of the term is underlined. Hover or click to see the definition as it
  appears on the page, jump to its source, or stop linking that occurrence.
• Tools → Defn: Clear All Data… removes everything Defn has stored.

Install

1. Download defn-0.1.0.xpi below.
2. In Zotero: Tools → Plugins → ⚙ → Install Plugin From File… and choose it.

Future versions install automatically through Zotero's plugin updates.

Web app

The repository also contains a web app with the same linking, plus a stack panel for pinned
definitions, a glossary, and JSON export/import. It isn't hosted yet; see the
README to run it locally.

Notes

• This is an early 0.x release: expect rough edges, and please report bugs in
  Issues.
• Your data stays local: in <Zotero data directory>/defn/ for the plugin, and in the browser for
  the web app.
