Fixed
MXF essence coding labels are now decoded by category (picture/sound)
and codec family as registered in SMPTE RP 224, instead of by byte 13
alone. Previously D-10 and DVCPRO HD were reported as PCM, DV25 and
JPEG 2000 as MPEG-2, and AC-3 / MPEG audio as PCM.
MXF now reports Apple ProRes (apco … ap4x, with profile), VC-3 /
DNxHD / DNxHR (dnxhd, with ffprobe's DNXHD / DNXHR <class> profile),
DV (dvvideo), JPEG 2000 (jpeg2000), FFV1, VC-1, DNxUncompressed,
v210/uncompressed video, MPEG-4 Visual, the remaining MPEG-2 labels (with Main / 4:2:2 profile) and AVC High 4:4:4 / CAVLC 4:4:4 Intra, plus
A-law, AC-3, MPEG audio, Dolby E and AAC sound labels.
ProRes in MXF reports ffprobe's decode format (10-bit 4:2:2, 12-bit
4:4:4) rather than the writer's ComponentDepth. ProRes 4444 / 4444 XQ
alpha comes from AlphaSampleDepth when present, otherwise from the
first frame header (a 26-byte read), matching ffprobe's yuva444p12le.
Removed the codec mappings for byte 11 == 0x04 labels and for 0x41 → ProRes, which match no registered label. The j2k and dv
codec names they produced are now jpeg2000 and dvvideo.
The CLI's per-stream CodecShort now covers these codecs.
