Upgrading from v0.1.0
Please upgrade. This release includes security fixes. In v0.1.0, anyone who could upload a file could upload HTML that ran on your app's origin when opened. If an admin opened it from the dashboard, it could read the admin key. See #11 and #20 for the full list.
To upgrade: back up your data, replace the binary and restart. We tested this on a SQLite database made by v0.1.0: its documents, files and scheduled jobs all carried over. Upgrades on Postgres, MySQL and libSQL haven't been tested.
SQLite: one optional step. Your database keeps working as it is, but it won't use the new documents layout, or give space from deleted documents back to the disk, until you vacuum it once. Stop the server first. Vacuuming needs about as much free disk as your data takes up.
onebase vacuum --data ./onebase_dataonebase doctor tells you when it's worth running.
Behavior that's now stricter:
- A
v.id("table")function argument now refuses an id from a different table. paginate()needsnumItemsto be a whole number of 0 or more. Larger pages are cut to 8192 documents withisDone: false, so keep paging untilisDoneis true.- Uploaded files other than images, audio, video, PDFs and plain text now download instead of displaying in the browser.
