Spotless 0.2.0-beta

First public beta of Spotless: the native Spotify app on a jailbroken PS5, signed in with your Spotify account, no PSN required.

What works

• Sign-in with the on-screen code or Spotify Connect from your phone
• Home, browsing, songs, videos and the rest of the native app
• Background playback while gaming
• Pause, previous and next from the Now Playing card
• One-time setup that persists across launches and reboots
• Spotless-Restore.elf puts the original app back

Tested

Firmware 13.00 with Spotify 01.017.000 (PPSA05688). Other firmware versions are untested; reports welcome. Spotless refuses frontend versions it does not recognise.

Install

1. Install Spotify 01.017.000 (package guide).
2. Load Spotless.elf with your ELF loader or Payload Manager.
3. Open Spotify and wait on the login screen for UI patch installed.
4. Close Spotify fully, reopen and sign in.

Known issues

• Music > Music sources > Spotify still shows Link and opens Sony's account-linking flow. Spotify itself is signed in and works normally.
