Self-hosted server no longer starts with default secrets: The Node/Docker server used hard-coded fallback values for JWT_SECRET and TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY when they were not set, so share-link sessions could be forged and stored tokens were encrypted with a public key. It now exits at startup when either is missing or when JWT_SECRET is shorter than 32 characters, and logs warnings for a short TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY, missing Google credentials and a missing FRONTEND_URL/WORKER_URL. docker-compose.yml also refuses to start without both secrets.
Docker images call their own API: The web app inside Docker images was built with the hosted Cloudflare worker URL. Images now build against a same-origin API by default (VITE_API_URL build arg).
Removed a committed database export and tightened ignore rules so secrets, SQLite files and database dumps stay out of git and the Docker build context.
Upgrade notes
Set JWT_SECRET (at least 32 characters) and TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY in your .env before upgrading a Docker install. Generate values with openssl rand -hex 32.
Do not change an existing TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY: stored Google Drive tokens and S3 keys are encrypted with it. Replacing JWT_SECRET only signs out password-protected share-link sessions.
