Experimental platform previews
English dictation is available. Multilingual/Hinglish support is coming soon. Recognition accuracy and hardware compatibility vary.
- macOS: Apple Silicon, macOS 14+. Locally signed; not Apple notarized.
- Windows: x64, Windows 11 target; Windows 10 22H2 compatibility target. Unsigned. WebView2 and Microsoft Visual C++ runtimes required.
- Linux: Ubuntu 24.04 x64, X11 desktop. Wayland global shortcuts/automatic paste are not supported.
Open-source availability does not remove Gatekeeper or SmartScreen warnings. Keep platform protections enabled. If a package is blocked or offered to move to Trash, report the exact message and release filename.
Each package includes the English speech model. Check SHA256SUMS.txt for byte integrity; checksums are not publisher signatures. Third-party licenses remain bundled.
Validation
Built from f0420a5bd0838a2de757e0493b608b27929368b4. Local suite: 228 passed, 3 native-platform skips. Cocoa/WebKit six-panel checks passed. Native Windows and Linux packages passed their installed UI and local model inference checks in run 39393701388. Portable CI passed on macOS, Windows and Linux. These checks do not establish physical-device or public OS-trust acceptance.
Fixo Flow 0.3.2 — English preview
English-only development preview. Multilingual dictation, including Hindi and Roman Hinglish, is coming soon and remains in accuracy research.
- Quiet startup at login and debounced automatic preference saving.
- Separate configurable hold-to-talk and hands-free shortcuts.
- Explicit spoken ordinal sequences become numbered lists in writing modes.
- Improved Auto mode in chat applications and personal-dictionary vocabulary selection.
- Strict Verbatim retains the recognizer's text. The bundled English model is unchanged.
Packages: Apple Silicon macOS 14+; Windows x64 (Windows 11 target); Ubuntu 24.04 x64 X11 preview. Windows 10 22H2 compatibility requires separate physical-device acceptance. Intel Macs, Windows ARM and full Wayland shortcuts/paste are not supported.
Windows is unsigned. The Mac build is locally signed and not Apple-notarized. OS security tools may warn or block installation. Do not disable OS protections. Microphone, global-input, text-insertion and low-end performance acceptance on physical devices remains incomplete. No claim of 99% recognition accuracy.
