Python skill 0.5.1 clarifies existing Relay runtime selection and discovery on one already configured paired receiver.

Changes

  • Distinguish a standalone CLI from an existing Relay-capable package environment. A dependency error in one executable does not prove that the machine needs installation or re-pairing.
  • Require operator-reviewed runtime selection and exact existing initialized state. Never automatically execute a discovered interpreter/service command, scan arbitrary credential directories or silently change managers, keys or settings.
  • Document device peers and list --device, permitted receiver aliases, explicit configured Direct routes and the existing admission rules. Default listing stays local; ordinary --all adds stale/archived records and is not aggregate paired discovery.
  • Preserve the same runtime/state through dry-run and one authorized send. queued/submitted/receiverAccepted do not establish consumption/ACK; unknown never authorizes resend.
  • Explain that lookup operations may lock/maintain the state Store and are not guaranteed filesystem-read-only. Missing/guessed/incomplete state must not be used as a probe. device routes changes stored routes.
  • Align English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese usage guidance and release pins.

Compatibility

  • Skill: 0.5.1
  • Minimum CLI compatibility: 0.9.1 (unchanged)
  • Published CLI coverage: 1.4.0 (unchanged)
  • Receiver codexBin floor: 1.0.1 (unchanged)

This documents existing supported functionality. It does not implement the proposed aggregate-discovery feature, change runtime behavior, install dependencies, pair devices, restart services or activate native sessions. TypeScript instructions/profiles remain unchanged.

Validation and review limits

Commands, flags, store behavior, policy aliases and receiverAccepted semantics were read against published runtime 1.4.0/source 476c67e636ef02cb93797dd2f42252dfe577625f; the existing feature flags were also checked in v0.9.1. No actual paired-device or SSH command, native send/ACK, private state inspection or operational test was run.

Local validation passed 41 coverage tests, metadata/tag consistency, skill frontmatter validation, published-source anchors and matching translated links/identifiers/examples. Skills CLI 1.7.0 discovery and isolated installation produced byte-identical canonical copies.

Read-only translation review used Antigravity CLI 1.4.12 / Gemini 3.8 Flash Medium, medium effort, on four new usage sections and canonical English excerpts (130.422 seconds). It reported no operational/safety meaning defect. Codex retained faithful plain-language paraphrases and clarified one Chinese Relay-capability phrase; that final small change was checked by Codex, not another model run.

Runtime compatibility snapshot synchronization is a separate follow-up from this exact published skill tag/source/hash. Existing releases, user installations and services are preserved.
