Vibe v0.1.0
Vibe v0.1.0
First release of Vibe, an ambient micro-looper with reverb for Linux (CLAP and VST3). Drench a part in reverb, loop it, then slow it down, reverse it and layer it into a wash.
Sound
- Stereo 8-line feedback delay network reverb: Wet, and Time from 0.3 to 20 s. The tail darkens as it decays
- Looper: tap Record to start the first take, tap again to close the loop, tap again to overdub. Older layers fade a little on each overdub pass
- Speed from -2x to 2x (negative plays in reverse), gliding like tape. Overdubs work at any speed, in either direction
- Clock: runs the looper at 1/8 to 1x the host sample rate. Pitch stays put, loops get longer (up to 160 s) and grittier
- Loop level and Clear
- Bypass with a click-free crossfade and host bypass integration; the loop and reverb keep running underneath
GUI
- Hand-drawn pedal with Bypass and Record footswitches. The Record LED is red while recording and green while a loop plays
- Knobs: drag or scroll to turn, hold Shift for fine control, double-click to reset
- Resizable window, saved with your project
Known limits
- The loop audio isn't saved with the project
- No host tempo sync yet
